  1. I've just caught up with this thread, you've had a rough trot Reverend Jo with tyres and the aircon as well. I hope the rest of the journey is better. We have a hot day in Melbourne tomorrow (41) and then it stays in the mid 30's for a few days but not quite as hot as the Adelaide forecast. I got my girls some of those gel cooling mats, I'm not sure they make a lot of difference but at least they have something cool to lay on. I've been letting them have access to the kitchen when I go out because there is no where cool enough outside for them when it gets into the 40's.
  2. I'm sorry for your loss. R.I.P. Jack
  3. I'm sorry for your loss. RIP Indiana Paddledog
  4. Lovely pics Marg, Lacey looks so cool in that pool. :D
  5. That's very encouraging Canetoad. I might try them with my dogs who have allergy issues with their ears hence they get yeast infections too. Probiotics combined with fibre have helped me enormously with an autoimmune condition that has improved by about 80% since I started taking Inner Health Plus caps daily (in my case it took a couple of years). You might find this Catalyst segment of interest, especially the video. It is about human health and probiotics. http://www.abc.net.au/catalyst/stories/2873729.htm
  6. I'm sorry to hear this and will pray fort a little miracle for her. I don't wish to get your hopes up but one of my Labs had renal failure and recovered after some time in hospital. Maybe she wasn't as bad, I will never know; but I will hope for you that Ice may get better.
  7. I just heard on the news there have been 1000 fires reported in Victoria in the last 2 hours. 40 are still out of control. Stay safe everyone!

  15. A vet will be able to scan her for a micro-chip.
  16. Oh good, I thought it was worth mentioning just in case. There are also a lot of links here in the Lost and Found section where you can, if not post 'found', at least look to see if anyone has posted about her being lost. Good luck! :) http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/70966-lost-and-found/
  17. Good on you for keeping her safe. Hopefully if she is micro-chipped the owners can be found. As you said you don't know a lot about dogs, in case you don't know don't give her any of the cooked chicken bones only the meat. I hope you find her owners soon.
