  1. Daisy is about 17kg and really active so she gets 2 cups of Purina Bonnie (full fat) plus some tuna in oil or a small lamb flap or a couple of small turkey necks or chicken necks. Poppy who needs to lose a few kilo's is 23-24kg and is a real guts. I have just started feeding her Purina Bonnie (low fat) and giving her 1 cup in the morning and 1 cup at night but I dont think its making her lose any weight yet. I am going to cut it down to 1 cup at night with 1 small turkey neck. She used to eat vegetables and tuna for dinner but that didnt work either. I have cut out all treats as she used to have a dentastix in the morning and the occasional pigs ear but no more of that till she looses the weight.
  2. I think its 6-8wks (closer to 6) C3 12wks C4 16wks C5 After 1yr top up C5
  3. One time I had both my girls in my car with me and its a ute so they both sit in the front, and I got out of the car at a shop, which was on a main road, and usually they stay put while I get out (They weren't tied in or wearing leads because I was in a hurry and only had 10 minutes before the shop closed), but that time my oldest girl hopped out while I was shutting the door and ran off down the footpath (alongside the main road!) and I was distracted by trying to grab her that my little girl went to hop out of the car and lucky for me I grabbed her mid hop and chucked her back in the car and shut the door! By this time I was having a heartattack but luckily I didnt chase my girl and I could see her thinking "oh, this isnt the park, this is boring" and she was a few metres away from me, just standing there, so I called her and she came back, thank god. I totally learned my lesson there and always tie them in from now on, or use my other car which is a wagon. But that gave me the fright of my life and if my little girl got out she would have run straight onto the busy road and my oldest girl probably would have chased her and I would have lost at least one of them for sure. Anyway, I agree that chasing them is the worst thing to do. I would run the opposite way and let them chase me, if they're not trained in recall yet (or choose to ignore you).
  4. My dogs were both done at 6-8, 12 and 16 weeks. I didnt take either of my puppies out till 16 weeks after they had their injections although some people take them out after the 12 week injection but my vet told me 16 weeks, when the C5 was done. I took my first girl to puppy preschool at my vets to have socialisation and even then I didnt put her down until the floor had been mopped with antibiotic wash etc. Because all kinds of dogs visit the vet and especially sick ones. I see some idiots taking their brand new 8 week old puppies out to the dog park all the time and I feel like walking up to them and yelling at them. But of course I dont because people hear what they want to hear and do what they want to do, and sometimes they just havent been told by the 'breeder' what is the correct thing to do.

  6. Which one is the male puppy mina? Any more video's for us? We love them
  7. I got my doggles from www.vetproductsdirect.com.au and I have seen them in Pet stock on South Road in Adelaide. I put a pair of medium sized ones on my foster grey teddy and his face was too skinny, they stayed on for a minute but not very well. Maybe a size small would fit?
