Hi All thats what I thought wiith sentinal spectrum that internal thingy would be better. But why are spot on treatments so expenive ? I find it hard to put it on a fidgity beagle ! He eats everything so I guess a tablet would be better !

Hi All I need to get a all rounder wormer and flea treatment for my pup soon. Which one should I use out of the 2 brands. Sentinel Spectrum or Advocate. RSPCA endorses: Sentinel Spectrum My vet endorses: Advocate i know that advocate is more expensive but is it better ? Sentinel has a 100% preventative gurantee. They both look good? Which one though /

Fidos make the ear whipes !!! Need those ear wipes too ! Beagle ears are really dirty !

I don't understand, people are raving about squirt but when I sniff my dog he smells nothing like pina colada etc. And I put alor of shampoo on ! Are dog shampoos supposed to make dog smell nice after they have been washed ? or are they only supposed to smell nice while your cleaning the dog ?

Hi All I have washed my beagle pup 3 times over 4 weeks ! I now you think it is extreme but he always rolls in the dirt and sometimes poo and his coat is all brown and dirty. :D What is a good shampoo that will keep his short coat silky soft and smells nice after his is dry ? I currently have Squirt Shampoo for puppies for him. It smells nice when I wash him but there is no smell after he is dry. He just smells like a dog ( but looks clean ) Any suggestions ?

Hi I took my dog to RSPCA for his vaccination and I was suprised when they only gave me a c3 vaccination and a a kennel cough one as extra ( pumped into his nose ) Is that too weak. He had a C4 for his first vaccination. And now for his second just a c3.

Hi All Oslo got more hypo in play session today ! I mean literally he was running like crazy and he was biting like crazy. What can I do before we start puppy school to get him as obedient as an untrained puppy can get.

Hi All I think Oslo is the other way around ! He took his vengence on the first 3 nights and tonight he is settling in NEW UPDATE AS OF 6:00 AM EST Oslo woke up about 5:50 AM. The whole family finally got a good nights sleep. He has begun eating again so that must be a good sign. Hopefully he will wake up at maybe 7 AM tomorrow hopefully. He has got a new plush dog friend that barks when you pull the sock out of his toung. Oslo seems comforted and spends his time chewing his new friend LOL

Yeah I was talking to another DOL member by Pm and she just PM'd me back and toldme that I should let him sleep whenever he wants and as long as he wants. I think I did some wrong by waking him up since I was afraid he would be too energetic at night time and would keep the whole family up ! I guess I should not do that anymore. Have I done any permenant damage from waking him up if he sleeps to long ?

Do you think he caught something at RSPCA. I held him off the ground as much as possible. In the room where he was checked by the vet he did sniff on the ground etc and did bite the door stopper on occasion but I am pretty sure that it was hygenic. I know the metal observation bench is since the vet sprayed it with antibac when we left. But I also think that RSPCA would take the necessary precautions wouldn't they ?
