My lil blak n tan bitch also used to hoover her food ... I had to buy her a brake fast bowl... Vet&Pet Direct sell them.. I also had to soak her kibble the nite before hand

Heya, just thought I'd mention one thing I found out when Dante was a pup was that soaking kibble especially in hot water breaks down the protein and destroys the Lactis (Good Bacteria) they spray on it. Oh oks... well there's nothing eles i can do but soak her's They dont just get kibble they get meat and yogurt also with the kibble... and Sardines on the odd days

My dogs are the same.. they seem to swallow them whole after a chew.. I always give my a bash b4 i give them to the dogs..

I wouldnt think the coat would hurt her for a short time... i find with the burs sometimes hair has to come out with em too cos they get soo twisted int he hair.. horrible things they are...Mine are just so long to the ground it sometimes sucks to be them

Not good at all with burs.. as for high prey drive.. mine will chase a bird ans stuff but have never killed other animal Alot of ppl say dash hound... its not spelt like that to start with.. its Dachshund and its pronounced DaxHund..
