Mine had there 2nd weekend of showing.. they were ok i spose but just cant get that gait going lol.. oh well there only puppies and they had a great time.. we have other show this weekend heading south.. i too hope the weather holds off!

The puppies had there first show this weekend, was a great weekend and was a good laugh at times lol Bailey aka Naekota Let Them Talk won Best Baby Puppy in Group!!!!!! And his lil sister Laynee aka Naekota Star Diva won 2nd Best Baby Puppy in Sweeps on the sunday!!!! What a great start!!! Go Team Go!!!! :laugh: Laynee Bailey

I used newborns goats milk in the powder.. the one u make up for babies..i got the goats stage 1 I put the bitch on it a week before whelping and while she was feeding them..

Websites are a good starting point, but a schmick website doesn't mean a good breeder. What is in the shop window isn't necessarily what is behind the counter. A breeder can say ANYTHING on their website, but it doesn't mean that they believe them. Many will say what they think people EXPECT them to say. If you've been reading any of the threads in General recently, there is mention there of a breeder saying one thing on her website but apparently practicing differenly in real life. The best thing you can do is to meet the breeders, at the least talk to them on the phone. Establish a rapport with them and use your intuition to decide whether or not you believe in them. I think I know the thread or should I say threads you are referring to in the Genral section! I hope that doesn't happen too often! I do have a breeder on my FB who is also heavily involved in showing and with the QLD club for that breed. She also lives close to me so she seems like a perfect fit but I don't know if she has any more litters planned for this year... Breeders heavily involved with their breed club are usually a good place to start. Most get involved with a breed club because they wish to do what is best for the breed. also if she doesn't have any litters planned, she can probably recommend someone else that does. Oh goody! I've sent her a PM on FB to ask if she has any litters planned. I really want someone close by so I can go visit my puppy she he/she grows. I wonder though if breeders allow that? Hmm... I wouldnt allow it.. No one comes and see's the pups till they have their first shots of needles

Yes lead training isnt going to well here lol and i have a show this weekend!!! I just bathed the lil kids and blow dryed them.. well didnt they scream once the blow dryer came on

Iv seen a few snakes dead on the road now for a few weeks

i just made lil paracord collars for em.. Well 2 r trying to get em off each other.. and one boy is crying and running around the pen lol

Well i did some lead training today.. the boys were screaming and screaming lol oh and rolling!! But got better.. Laynee was just about perfect.. she gaited she did a couple rolls but got the hang of it at the end..

Funny u should say.. The litter of pups we had here i was going use the theme charlie brown.. as the sire is Charlie Brown I was going to call the bitch puppy peppermint patty lol

I started toilet training my pups at about 4 weeks of age.. Outside of whelping box i had newspaper pee pads..they got the hang of pee/pooin on them till about 6 weeks of age they started to rip them lol So they started to go outside for wee/poo and now they are 12 weeks old.. there doing well!

I tried walking for the first time last weekend.. we did ok.. but we do zig zag LOL
