Thought I'd pop my head in at the 'local' and introduce you all to Buzz, my new bubba... have posted pics in the Show Ring & Whippet forums already but At this stage Buzz is destined for a show career BUT Rommi & Lewis has inspired me to maybe give performance sports a go as well... Hope you are all enjoying the gorgeous weather we are having today... :D I've been out in the garden playing with my camera on manual mode and learning to change settings 'on the fly' Time for a cuppa & lunch methinks... Ciao for now!

Thanks R&H and Emery - I am super excited about my new little couch potato Yes, he is a Whippet Has been quite a while since we've had a puppy in the house - the kids are so excited and keep asking how many more sleeps till THEIR Whippet arrives? Hoping to have lots of fun with him, both in the ring and out of it... Hope everything goes according to plans Sarah, waiting sucks but let's hope your new bubba, who/whatever they may be, is soooo worth the wait! Best of luck with the Dally girl's Gr title... The bolded bit above is exactly where I'm at... just want to enjoy my pup, enjoy shows & my lovely doggy friends and let the rest of the crap sort itself out! Not buying into that thanks very much...

Just my own experience, but I LOVE my Skechers - I have a few pairs in various colours now. Comfortable, not too bulky but a bit more 'dressy' than your average sneakers. Not cheap, but shop around - there are a couple of online shops where you can find great shoes at great prices! Again personal preference, but I prefer no laces - no chance they can come undone then! I have velcro straps and straight elasticised pull-ons, both work fine. Happy shoe shopping!!

I knew something was coming.... why else would you want a shiney new trolley shucks, you found me out... LOL! Unfortunately the purple trolley didn't come to fruition but ALL the trolley accessories (bar the dog!) are purple so it's a pretty good compromise

Just popping into the waiting room before getting kids organised for school etc so I won't sit down, thanks... *tells various dogs who clearly have no intention of moving out of the way for me anyway* :D Still lighting candles, both real and virtual, and still thinking of Jed everyday, although I haven't been in here much. It makes my heart glad to read the updates - it is a long way to travel, but so glad Jed definitely has two feet firmly on the road to recovery Will try and pop back in for a bite of lunch but will have to pass on the lovely healthy brekky.... or maybe I'll just grab a hot buttered crumpet on my way through? :D

Hey there! Huge congrats on Bree's lovely win - what a nice way to finish a Grand title! So sorry I didn't get to catch up with you in person, will have to come back for the Royal at some point and we'll make sure to have that champers then! :D Attached is the pic I took of Grand Champion Bree and Mr Shopaholic himself, AustinPowers and the lovely Miss Maggie, hope you like it and I'll make sure you get the original...

Funniest shopping trip I've ever been on in my life.... when he started sorting through the clothes in the maternity section I really got worried!!! :) You really do see all sorts in KMart at 9.45 on a Friday night.... ;) it was an eye-opener! It's official though, WA is the most backward state in Australia, we only have late night shopping on Thursdays and aside from then, everything else is shut at 6pm Oh, I also have some pics coming of Tassie's lovely boy Rory, was happy I got to have cuddles with him So do I post Hounders pic or wait till she announces it officially??? Nope!! QLD only has late night shopping on thursday nights. In the city areas woolies is open until 9pm weekday, 5pm saturday and 6pm sunday. Country areas (noy even way out in the country only 30 mins from city) woolies isnt even open AT ALL on a sunday. We can top that!!! ;) Woolies shuts at 6pm Mon-Weds and Friday, 5pm on Saturday and none of our Woolies open on Sundays... If we need anything after 6 then we have a few IGA supermarkets that open till about 8 or 9pm but boy, you pay for the privilege ;)

He most certainly is not wuined or a wuss - he is weally, weally wunderful! Will definitely be back - what a gorgeous part of the world Tasmania is, even though it was a wee bit nippy... Have told Mr PD888 that we'll have to do a family trip with the kidlets, although I am a little concerned about he & AustinPowers getting to play together... I think that could end badly for me - they both have a wicked sense of humour and like to pick on me!!! Thanks again Tassie DOLers for making me feel so welcome - I had a ball! ;)
