  1. Yep, sure is :D Hoping the lead arrives today in which case it will get it's debut outing this Sunday, LOL!
  2. Thanks LotG :D Well done again with Miss Woo!
  3. Congrats everyone! My 'new' baby is growing up... he's had 4 shows (2 open) for 2 x baby in groups so far. Am very pleased with my little man Pic take on the weekend...
  4. Poo-Fong stems from a rather unfortunate incident at the Whippet National earlier this year involving - yes, you guessed it - poo and thongs Poo-Fong say, always look before you leap :D
  5. Can someone send me Deb's details please? Many thanks! :D
  6. Everything crossed for Bondi here! Poor girlie... Hope she continues on going from strength to strength.
  7. RS - yes, you can get it at CF or BP&G, should be about $35 for a litre, and a Lab would have about somewhere between 5 - 10 mL a day, depending on if they are showing any symptoms such as sore joints, itchy skin etc. More than 10ml per day is a waste, less than 5ml per day is also mostly a waste. And yes, it is an animal product, and I am indeed married to a freak :D (but a freak with functioning knees, a shiny pelt and an ability to scratch behind his ears with his foot  )
  8. LOl, it's gorgeous isn't it? :D Jerry was a bit knackered by that stage, no wonder he was good! Long day, we arrived at 9.30 and didn't get in the ring till after 2!!! Guaranteed that if I leave it till lunchtime at the next show, it'd be all done and dusted by 11.30
  9. Don't they look funny? :D Jerry only has about two front teeth at the moment - the judge was going over him at the show yesterday and checked his mouth/teeth and I wished her good luck finding any
  10. Miss Anikka was indeed beautiful! Jerry Whippet & I were in front of her in the Baby In Show line up :D Fish oil - all of my dogs (and any boarders I think will benefit from it whilst here) get Omegamagic Plus oil on their food each night... it's a combo of fish, vegetable, flaxseed, evening primrose & wheatgerm oils and is awesome for itchy, scritchy dogs as well as a general joint health supplement. http://www.advancedpetcare.com.au/supplements.asp Mr Poo-Fong actually takes it as well in a glass of milk each morning - he swears his knees have never been better since he started taking it, and says it beats swallowing copious amounts of fish oil capsules but yeccch! I don't know how he does it
  11. Congratulations!! All the best with your new arrival.
  12. So very, very sorry Staffyluv. What an amazing fella Ollie Dog was. Sending gentle thoughts & hugs to you. Run free Ollie
  13. You won't get into Byford until next year I had a lady contact me from the UK who was looking at sending her Border Terrier girl out prior to the new regs - I was going to visit her in quarantine, collect her when her time was up and board her here until her owners arrived but the plan was scotched due to Byford not having availability until well after the 1st Jan ETA: I hope you get something sorted for your new girl MM, love the Leos!
  14. Apparently they are all in Australia... http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=61482
  15. Had an email tonight from one of our boarding clients to say that their dog was lost to a suspected snake bite today She was due to come in for a visit soon. Please be vigilant people... run free Miss Sienna
  16. Couldn't pink just be a shade of apricot???
  17. Some people just crack the poops when they lose!! I believe!! Well done emery! Firstly, I didn't "lose" as such, I was Baby of Breed (ok, he was unopposed but still ;p) Had I gone on to win Baby in Show under this guy my comments would still be the same. I have been showing for 20 years on and off, and the only time I have ever 'cracked the poops' as you put it is if I feel my dog hasn't been judged correctly, fairly or treated with respect. He was very nice to Jerry in as much as he talked to him etc, but I still maintain he was far too rough on his testicles. And no ifs, ands or buts - it is completely rude to ignore a dog and have a convo outside the ring whilst you are supposed to be judging it, regardless of what you do with that dog in the results. Just my findings on the day, I am as entitled to state what I found with this judge as anyone else. No poop cracking here ;) Well done on your day Emery , and sorry that Chance hurt his foot... what a bummer! Hope he's much better now. Edited to remove post from the existing quote keep ya knickers on Poo Yong it wasnt directed at YOU it was from all the whiners about tyhe German Judge who is in fact an excellent Judge ( so sorry you took offence it was not a9imed at any person just the general feeling from the WHOLE Dog community!!) my knickers are firmly on, thanks! I'm sure some people think he is excellent - but if the 'general feeling from the WHOLE Dog community' is of the opinion that he is a bit of a twit then you do have to wonder if there's something in it... ;) There are several judges I would class as excellent but I'm sure that some wouldn't agree there either :D Ah well, each to their own... I guess excellence is subjective in this case!
  18. How do you make them? No sewing? Yep, no sewing which is the only reason I gave it a go - Martha Stewart I ain't! LOL! Basically you cut two pieces of polar fleece the same size, cut 4" long x 1.5" wide strips all around the edge (cutting out 4" squares on each corner if you are doing a square or rectangle) and then just tie the strips up! Leave one side open enough to stuff with fluff and voila! one cushiony dog bed. Super easy! :D Have a look here - they make a round one but I wanted to do rectangular - same principle though.
  19. Oso - cushion is filled with polyfill (white stuffing stuff ) Half-made a long cushion for my daughter's bed last night, it is very theraputic sitting on the couch tying knots
