  1. About two hours, from memory Googlemaps puts the time from my house to CT at 1hr 50 minutes too. Thanks ;)
  2. hmmm went and did the smart thing and looked it up, im thinking 3 hours from the coast....
  3. Huski, how long would it take you to get there? I have to come from the Sunshine Coast, so know how long to get to Brisbane, but from Brisbane to Camp Tailwaggers I'm not sure on. Cheers
  4. I have heard so much about Daisy I am quite looking forward to meeting her
  5. Oh you guys don't know vocal! Littleman likes doing obedience related things when it is done to his pace, when things slow down A question, we can bring training treats? One of my main goals is to see training in drive first hand and I would think that Littleman is very food driven.
  6. I guarantee you, you have nothing to worry about! He's probably better behaved than Daisy So maybe we can just occupy the naughty corner
  7. K9: Please do, they are our best successes! K9: There are a couple of places left, so I think you should be fine, I think it will sell out today though. Ok well reading that bit makes me feel better Is it ok to bring noisy dogs? Littleman can be somewhat vocal.....
  8. Don't worry, I'm bringing the Evil Beagle, I can assure you she is not very well behaved She'll probably sit in her crate whinging the entire time Last year K9's workshop was largely on aggression, we had a lot of dogs there with aggression problems, it is definitely not restricted to dogs who are only well behaved! Some of us know each other, but it's always fun to meet new DOLers! What are you nervous about? You know what I dont know Littleman is pretty well trained but some of the people going will be in such a higher league than us, perhaps intimidated would have been better.
  9. I have just emailed to see if there is a spot available for me So hopefully I am coming to, I am nervous now

    Outside Puppy

We have been visited three times now by a little stafford that has been escaping her owners yard, the mans housemate is away house sitting elsewhere and is obviously the main care giver, because since he has been gone she escapes at every chance she gets. Her owner clearly doesn't let her in the house and she has been left out in the yard alone since the housemate has been gone and she is escaping to find him. She keeps coming back to us because we have called him and then looked after her until she is picked up each time she has showed up and clearly she is craving her human companionship. You really need to take on board that Staffords and many other breeds cannot be left out alone outside. They are not suited to that lifestyle at all.
  11. Shell this one is for you Thats what is outside our local cemetery. Edt: All my photos have turned out crapola, sadly this is the best one ;) I will keep plugging away though.
  12. I would not sell a pup or adult dog to anyone that did not have suitable fencing.
  13. I was advised of the same thing in the early days of us looking for a second stafford. But I also believe that it comes down to the indivdual dog and in some instances the lines they are from. If you have two dogs that come from a line of firey dogs then you could be setting yourself up for some hurt. With the right research I don't think it is impossible.
  14. My guys are all quite vocal They each have their own specific "sounds" which often have us laughing at them.
  15. ooohhh I like Aquaticmalamute!! Especially the last one.
  16. Two frozen motion pics - Cheating a bit as I took them in January And I like the water droplets at the bottom of the pic in this one because they have caught the light and are like little coloured orbs
  17. Ok so my first go, Im not sure if it fits the challenge properly, going to go back and have a better read and then give it a go this month. Water coming out of the drain pipes
  18. I dont have much in the way of constructive advice for you Kylie, except good luck with all the training and if your breeder is willing to be helpfull and give you suggestions then they are confident he will be fine in the laundry. Cant wait to see some photos when he arrives!
  19. Perhaps not with the clipping of the site but when warned of the dogs propensity toward skin aggravation there could have been an alternative used to prep the site. The fact that they claim no record would indicate to me that they knew they had done wrong. I was thinking the same as Sas, an aloe gel/cream? Natural and cooling.
  20. What do you mean if it did happen? I believe that's a way of saying that A_Nomad believes PPS is lying about seeing the dog attacking the other in its backyard. I did gather that but I would really like to hear where A_Nomad gets off saying it Easier to stick his/her head in the sand and act like it never happened....
  21. Im sorry you had to see that PPS Try not to feel guilty, your not the one that had that dog and your not the one who acted irresponsibly by allowing it access out of its yard.
