OMG so sorry to hear this story, RIP Sarge. I have had a recent problem of Large black Male dog jumping into my yard, I have 2 small terriers rang the council, they will not come out unless I have caught the dog myself!!! or if I know who owns it they will contact them.. I live in a rural area, fully fenced yards it jumps 2 gates to get into house yard..luckily my neighbours were home and sat in my yard for 1/2 a day while I was at work keeping this dog away and keeping my dogs safe.. I did approach the dog to try and catch it like council wanted me to but the body language of dog told me not to grab it.. it looks well cared for collar and tick collar but no council rego id or ph no on it, live in small community, work in local newsagent and asked everyone I know in area if they knew who's dog it was without success.. luckily it has not showed up again? but my fear of what will happen if it does.. have increased height of gates but so angry at attitude of council..

Bruce, I always wished you were my dog.. but I was proud to be your aunty, you were the most beautiful, loyal, trustworthy dog and I can't understand how you could be so happy and healthy one minute and then to go down so quickly to a paralysis tick..you fought so hard to stay, I just wished we could of done more, It is going to take us all awhile to come to terms with you not being there, meeting us at the door with your ball ready for a game... I love you like you were my own, love and miss you heaps already, but I know Zeus and Zoe would of met you on the rainbow bridge. RIP Bruce, it just shouldn't of happened like this you were only 5 1/2. ;)

hopefully mine will turn up next week, mail to far north qld is still delivered by camel ..lol.. can't wait sounds like everyone is happy with the final product

I am also just a basic knitter, so knitting squares I can do, so will try and get some done

I just had may little man desexed on Monday, stitches to come out in 10 days, and said ok to walk on lead, just not to get stitches wet so swimming and bathing is out, and just to watch for any bleeding, swelling or excessive licking, and just not to let him run amok to much, but him being a terrier, easier said then done, but walked every day and has a bit of a play in the yard and is doing well, amazing how they bounce back.
