  1. I would have thought Puck from midsummers nights dream before f-ck.. but I guess it depends on the 'quality' of the owner! ROFL Having a rhyming name with your dog would be cute
  2. Hate them If a client’s dog has one I’ll keep it at a standard 2m if there is no other lead to use My fiance’s SWF has one, but when I walk him with my GSD I have them both on 2m normal leads – there is such limited control otherwise (for this particular dog)
  3. My parents have fake lawn, but the D only visits very occasionally and usually does his business on walks. It does get quiet warm, but D also loves scratching and rubbing himself on it. I have a client with a lab that has just put down fake lawn - I think the dog mostly does his #2s around the side of the house on gravel but not sure about his wees... I'll have to ask if they have noticed a smell. I haven't.
  4. I've been using some old pointy tweezers on the D, but just bought some off Sway to use instead - good price :) He gets bone everyday, but has some plaque up on his canines. Taz (malt x) has some as well, but he has just started eating bones so it might go away. I am able to do Taz's and my old cats with just my fingernail
  5. ouchies - that looks awful those clippers must have been running for hours to make that kind of burn - also no reason to shave his bits or all the way down his leg I would have thought poor little man
  6. poor little man - I hope the overall surgery went well though
  7. I know D's back to front (but only for 7 generations) I was browsing some GSD sites and most of them are complete rat arses compared to the D, but I saw one I liked... low and behold it was his 'uncle'
  8. found it! www.ruthlessphotos.com/ I think that looks pretty good - I'd prefer somewhere with no water because D will be right in there and then won't look as good
  9. what's the website? I'd be interested but will depend on prices - autumn is always nice in Canberra
  10. hehehe I am keeping an eye out on the coupon websites for a discounted car detail I'm sure they will refuse after the see it! I gave my old wagon to a friend who had a farm and was going to mod it out in all manner of illegal ways for roo shooting - years later he told me how he bundled his 3 kids in the back and they were still complaining about dog hair! hahahaha I can't sell my car given how much hair is in it
  11. Yes I would say upwards from $200 - closer to $300 (but try ebay after you find a style you like - we got our Andis ones from there). anything that is cheaper is not going to cut it in the long term and will probably do a dodgy job in the short term. Also make sure they have interchangeable blades and not just plastic comb attachments - you might be looking around $40 for blades and you should a #10 for groin and from the photo it looks like a #7 on the body
  12. Dieter's meds were very costly so I looked for a human version after chatting to the vet it was a little more affordable at $400 a week! (the joys of having a big dog) Maybe a human chemist can help with these meds?
  13. I know I've already commented in this thread, but I just can't believe it
  14. OMG that is awful, the poor old man I would sue the sht out of that shop!
  15. Agree with showdog - rake for general stuff but for bindis a slicker
  16. great photos I love the second last one with the boys smiling :)
