Yep, Nelsson had an eye removed due to glaucoma at the age of 11 (I think). He was so much happier afterwards (once the stitches etc had healed). Nelsson still turns and runs into things sometimes but he isn't the brightest spark. Now at 14 he is starting to get cataracts in the good eye :laugh:

Any pictures? Nelsson has a big/deep chest but doesn't have any bald spots. Does she have thin hair there anyway?

Thanks Staffyluv. Nelsson swims occasionally, but prefers just to wade these days :). Might look into a physio for him. Hope you get to the bottom of what's causing the seizures.

Sorry, I can't help at all with the seizures So it doesn't go OT and if you have time, could you please PM me what you are doing to try and build muscle and tone in the hind quarters? I do walking up hills but Nelsson just seems to use his front legs more

This is a pic of Nelsson just before christmas. He is now 14.5 :) I got a puppy 3 weeks ago and in the last couple of days, Nelsson chased (slowly) a kong Nelsson has never been a ball or anything chaser in the back yard. Would occasionally chase a stick on the beach. Then today, I was squatting down about to throw a rope toy for Evie and Nelsson grabbed it from behind when I put my arm back to throw it He then grabbed it and had a chew a couple more times :D

Love the oldies It's amazing how young (no greys) some of them look and some age before their time :)

Lovely photo's and stories I always underestimate the age of white dogs. If they have a lot of white on their face you don't notice the greys as much. Mum's APBT is 11 I think and she doesn't look it, though mum sees her everyday so notices the greys in her brown patches lol

:laugh: Good idea perse! They aren't big bowls but they work quite well in keeping water cool and meat in food bowls sort of fresh and ANT FREE!!! I'll continue using them in winter just to keep the ants away :D
