They took him to a great place They are all so helpful there and as I said before a bill of $4000 is what I would expect and more. I hope the little guy heals well and there isn't any long going issues for him.. especially as he grows.

We actually spent more time at home with 2 dogs than we ever did with just Oscar. I would never go away for a weekend only having someone to pop over and feed them.. It just isn't my thing... my dog's need interaction, attention and love. We have only gone away 2 times since having 2 dogs and both times my friend has lived in our home while we were away. Also you have to think... how will she get along with this dog? She has had only you for so long will she still only look to you for interaction? Oscar does!! He still only comes to us to play ball or walkies etc etc. Dude has learned to play with Oscar as his play mate.. But in all honesty Oscar would do well without Dude.. in fact he would prefer it...

Sounds about right to me. It is broken and he had to stay in hospital have drags and pain relief etc..

Once my Nanna's Staffy got out into the front yard and had a go at the neaighbours cat (that was in our yard) and she paid half of the vet bill...

Any news on the injuries? Oscar was bitten through the fence by our neighbours dog last year... We were building a new fence (they didn't help pay for) But I wanted a fence to keep their dogs away from ours! At the time there was 1 more paling to go on the new fence Oscar was sitting on my lap and I was sitting right next to the fence.. Chris was reaching to get the last paling to nail on.. the idiot guy next door popped his head over and said something stupid .. Oscar turned his head around and next minute his dog had his head through the fence and bit Oscar face!! I quickly looked Oscar over and his lip was bleeding and I said OMG Chris he's bleeding.. The guy next door said was that my dog who did that!! WTF we had to go to PetER and Oscar was seen to etc.. costs us $200 .. the guy next door didn't even say sorry! I would have liked a sorry. We didn't ask for money because I guess I shouldn't have been sitting there with him on my lap with one last paling to go on.. I didn't expect a dog's head to come through and bite him!! The main thing is Oscar wasn't hurt very badly and now we have a fence that their dogs cannot get through

Charlie will never be far from my mind... I know this sounds weird but in a way he is my heart dog too! I always think of him and send him healing and positive vibes/energy. He looks so much like my two (in the face) that it breaks my heart to think that he is unwell We all know you have done everything possible for Charlie and we all love and respect you for that. Many others would have thrown up their hands and given up.. but not you! Charlie will have a life filled with love and that's what matters. Please give Charlie kisses and hugs from me Also have you tried swimming? to build muscles etc it also tires them out hehehehe. I take Oscar and Dude swimming all of the time.. Oscar just loves swimming and they sleep for ages after. They have very strong muscles because of it.

I can't believe the big guy is gone I am so very sorry. He always made me smile, even when I was down. I saved some pictures of him on my computer and will often look at them just for a laugh. He will always be with you. Big hugs

Oscar and Dude either sit infront of me and whimper or jump on my lap and put one paw on my shoulder lol.. I run through the list of things and when whatever they want comes up they bark and jump off me.

Some people make me sick! WTF do they expect from a puppy? to be fully house trained in a day? They don't deserve to own an animal!
