Hi All! Just got in (been out with the folks all afternoon ) Enjoyed the walk & great pics TLC. Chantel thinks it looks like fun having all those dogs together and is going to try and come along on a walk soon. Glad the rain held off for us coz it pissed down on the way home! Where did you go with your Guys Pandii? Do you go out with another group sometimes? Bet it was cold at Killarney if you went out there... Hope you had a great walk too Looks like Tez is trying to make-off with Tarni in a couple of those pics. You can borrow her anytime and maybe then you'll know the REAL meaning of an idiotic dog! I thought Jane was wonderful today. Got along with all the other kids and behaved herself really well! ;) Nope. Wont be able to make it next Sunday - Tarni is making her Championship Show "debut" at Horsham.

God I hope you didn't have the kids with you! I'd kill them if my kids witnessed that...

No Way!! I might start taking a bat down there! I tell ya, if I ever saw something like that they would have to CRAWL back to their cars... ETA: Needs to be re-named: Chunder Point :D

I must say I've never noticed anything 'suspicious' there, Besides the 'men' who park & wait........ hope THEY'RE not going into the bushes!!! EEEEeeeewwwwwww!

Although this seems completely unimportant after reading about your day............. Yes I am taking her down on Saturday.The family are coming down with me and we are going to do some shopping and stuff. Will be back Sat evening though... She will stay down for at least a week.

Oh my God! Barb that is THE worst thing that could possibly happen on a walk. I think if mine did that I would leave them there!!! I feel sooooooo sorry for you. Don't think I could have even faced washing her, and I have a strong stomach! *thinks twice about thunder point sunday*

Got Amy's hip score results back tonight - total score of 7 (Breed Average: 11.97) So I am happy and we're good to go! Her elbow results were 0:0 - Perfect! :cool: :D :p - Think that'll do.....

RJ - See Page 95 post #1418 re: Amy. Happy to advise re" hip/elbow scoring. Do you know breed averages for RR's?

Tez, Tez, Tez. You have nothing to worry about - you've not met my Tarni yet!!! While reading your post I was thinking I should ask if she's a Labrador - sounds very typical of young-Lab behaviour, with the bouncing and mouthing the lead etc. Very 'gundog' type behaviour but very Lab They DO grow out of it though. I'll be doing the walk but wont have Amy with us - she's off to Melbourne on Saturday. Will be good to meet you & Jumpin' Jane!

Pandii don't stress about Seb - half the problem is that my lot are such sooks! They could ignore him and run off if they wanted. Stupid dogs! ;)

Yep. Amy's first litter. I bred her too. She is "Jerojath Love Over Gold" from our Dire Straits litter - all pups in that litter carry a Dire Straits song title (J Walk Of Life, J Six Blade Knife, J Solid Rock etc). Yes we will have 4 girls, plus two girls & two boys we co-own. Trailer will be handy - wouldn't bother having it for 2 or 3 dogs! For short Killarney may get 'Killer' ;) Tarni's first show is on August 23 and then on August 30. Amy is entered too. Edited to add: at one point some years back before moving to WA, I had 11 vizslas!

Well Amy is well and truly 'in season' and is off to Melbourne on the weekend to be inseminated. This is subject to her hip/elbow test scores which I wont have until Friday so will be a rush if they return ok. My last litter was "T" themed - ie, all pups were registered with Victorian Town names starting with 'T'. Tarni is "Jerojath Tarnagulla". This litter will be "K" and we will keep a bitch (if of high quality) and she will be "Jerojath Killarney" - just 'coz we spend so much time there it's rather fitting! Yep... had a good walk on Sunday. Dante was very good with my girls - even Tarni. It's Seb who seems to bother my lot . Not with aggression, just by 'baling' them up and keeping them from doing their own thing. He is getting better though , on each walk we go on... Sent off an application for a job today. Sounds really good and well within my skills yet challenging all the same. Will keep ya's posted as news comes to hand. :p

TLC - Anytime suits me next Sunday (at this stage) so you can work it around the others, Tez in particular...

Yeah I'd be up for a walk with anyone, anywhere, anytime! Will check in here later TONIGHT, otherwise I will go to Killarney at 10:30am. The dogs need a REALLY good run this week - they haven't been out all week as I have been busy tying up loose ends at work.

TLC I go to Wollaston Vets on Mortlake Rd. They have been seeing my vizslas for years as I used to hand-over my 'oldies' to Mum & Dad to live out their retirements in comfort and they used to take the dogs there also. And you wouldn't read about it.... took Amy in this morning for Hip & Elbow X-Rays to be sent to Dr Wyburn in WA for scoring and while I'm there I find Amy has come into season over-night! AAAAaaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!! She's come in two months early and I wont breed her without having the scores back and that can take weeks! I am about to ring Wyburn and see if he can rush them through for me . Otherwise I will have to wait til her next season which means another winter litter which I hate AND we will have a new baby!!! Dogs!!!! So I'm freaking out today!
