  1. Thanks tlc - I thought after we'd gone of how rude I'd been! We've had the car a while now. Ran out of seats in the Pajero and as we do a lot of 4WDriving we didn't want to just give that up and buy a mini-van or similar. The Delica was imported and was never available in Australia. It suits us perfectly as it seats 8 and is a full 4X4. It's actually a Starwagon body (van) on top of a Pajero chassis and running gear. It's very big and heavy (over 2 tons) but is very capable off-road and is a turbo diesel which I love. Still no room for all the dogs though, so if we're out with more than one or two of them we still have to take the dog trailer. I'd love you to have a play with some pics for me. I've never had a photo-signature and wouldn't know where to start! Can you please PM me your email address and I'll send you some pics? Yes we are finally tying the knot after more than seven years engaged. We are having a very small wedding (immediate family only) in October. Don't worry - many people think we are married already as I sometimes refer to Chantel as my wife - when you've got 4 kids and been together so long it seems silly to say "my fiance" or "my girlfriend" :D At least we will no longer be living in sin..... :D ETA - TLC is is possible to pull pics off my website or would I be better off emailing some to you?
  2. tlc - great shots! Sorry I was so rude and rushed off when I saw you today - Chantel and I were running late for a wedding dress fitting (yes we are finally gunna do it ) and we'd lost my Mum who was coming along too. We just found her in Coles when we saw you! Love the shots of Lucy doin' hoops! tez - LOVE the new siggy. I'd love Barb to do one for me but I don't think I have any nice photos of the dogs! :p
  3. Great stuff Cav! Sounds like they are all doing well. Keep up with the supp feeding - even if it's only for your peace of mind. Sure can't hurt anyway.
  4. Just thought I'd pop in and let you know that Cavalblaze' pups are doing a whole lot better. I went around today to see them and Mum seemed much more relaxed with her babies and all are strong and feeding well, although CB is going to continue supplement feeds on the little one. Good news. Think CB is looking forward to a good sleep though....
  5. There is also video of this scene on youtube. Very sad.
  6. I believe I shall attend, this year. Well, NEXT year! BUT!!! I called the Jika and ALL the accommodation is completely booked out for the weekend already! Can anyone suggest somewhere nearby I can try?
  7. Cav I am not too far from you - there's not much I can do to help but feel free to call me anytime. PM me if you need a ph number. Sorry to hear about the little girl but the fact Mum has relaxed a bit with them is a very good step.
  8. Cavalblaze is posting updates in the "litters due in June" thread in the breeders forum. She's having some bad luck with her pups so will be too busy to post in here I'd imagine. I'm sure she could use some well-wishes!
  9. Cavalblaze - sorry to hear you've had so much bad luck with these pups. Let us know how how she gets on at the Vet, but apart from advice others have already given you there's not much more I can offer. Wishing lil Ruby all the luck in the world!
  10. How's lil Ruby doing this morning, Cavalblaze?
  11. No No No. The bitch whelped a litter, the stud did his job. If they had died under more acceptable conditions and under great care, I would offer another service as an act of kindness.
  12. Congrats again Cavalblaze! Hope lil ruby pulls through....
  13. I let my bitches eat as many as they want. They don't always eat the mall, but often do. You still need to be certain they are all accounted for though, so check them off on your whelp sheet as you go... Yes they often to give the girls 'the runs' but then if you don't want to clean up after her, don't have a litter coz it's all a part of it.
  14. None of my puppies have stayed 'local' to me so we are not friends socially with their owners, but we do maintain a good relationship with them all via FaceBook, Email, Visits when possible, Telephone calls to update etc. I get lots of stories and photos too, which I love. We also have an annual get-together and BBQ on the beach for all Jerojath "puppies" which is a lot of fun and a great chance to see how everyone is going and help with any problems they might be having... We have had 3 litters in the last year so numbers will be well up this year!
  15. Plenty of cases down my way.... Sth West Victoria.
  16. Congratulations Cavalblaze! That's all great news... :D ;)
  17. God knows what's going through her mind Tenties - she's a bit of a nutter! ;) However I am getting very attached to her very fast. Yay! about time you have some good news about your car! You wont recognize it once it's all fixed, it's been so long!
  18. Cavalblaze.... me thinks you may have some news to share???
  19. Sorry Pandii I need one for the pup (at the moment), one is sold already, and the other has been promised to a DOLer.
  20. There are quite a few here on the DOL profiles. I'm sure someone there wouldn't mind passing on some info to you. They really are lovely, aren't they?
  21. I'm not sure exactly how many I've got, as whenever I look out the window all I see is a red blur racing past! No seriously though.... I have Belle, Amy, Tarni & Vitasz. None of whom are harem for the boy as Belle is his Mum, Tarni is his older sister and Amy is like his 3/4 sister. The newcomer Lilly is a girl I bred a year or so ago (Tarni's sister) who sadly needs to be rehomed. Lilly is the second girl from this litter who has come back into my care through no fault of their own. Lilly's owners employment has changed recently which includes frequent trips abroad and they & I all agreed that due to their lack of time available to spend with Lilly, it is in her best interests that she find a new home. But! If the perfect home is not found she will stay here with me coz I just love her!
  22. That's a nice pic of Gus and Jane. Looks like he's settled in great and they are getting along famously! Going by the pics I've seen I don't think Gus is going to be terribly big - just terribly cute! Speaking of cute.... Here's my latest 'addition' - Lilly. She's 12 months old and adorable. She has settled in here as if she'd lived here all her life. She's never met a baby before but after some initial trepidation is now totally smitten! She loves the kids and her four-legged family, especially young Vitasz!
  23. I took it out the kitchen window  coz there is no chance of getting a still shot of him once he's heard the back door!
