30 Terriers at a Championship Show? It's hardly worth running. I hear Gundogs were low too.
-
I haven't exhibited at Geelong for years because I hate it so much. There is very little room ringside (or within the whole dog section really!) and as it usually attracts a large entry it is just a shamble. And this year I'm told, due to this lack of space, all gazebos wre banned for use by exhibitors so if it started to rain you'd have to huddle up with your dogs under a tarp! Shocking! I much prefer 'country' shows to metropolitan shows but I wont do Geelong! ETA. Sorry to answer for Tenties.... just giving my own opinion.

I always go looking for you if I see your car out front, but today I was in a real hurry and you looked busy.
-
Barb I have two bags on back-order and never heard back from the representative, so I'm guessing they've still got issues. I saw you at work this morning but you were running around like a BAF so left you to it!

Thanks Tenties I might go and have a look. I haven't heard of Ozpet litter but it may be suitable for what I need it for. I really like the Breeders Choice but it's so expensive and it just gets thrown out!

I don't have a cat! I use it for the bearded dragons. Oops! I accidentally quoted my own post instead of editing/adding to it!
-
oops!

Anyone here use Breeders Choice cat litter? If so, where is the cheapest place to buy it? I go through bags and bags of the stuff and I'm paying top-dollar at Woolies!

Yeah tlc you are right, there don't seem to be a lot of Wei's around, but there are a couple near me. Beautiful dogs. Yesterday I saw a lovely vizsla walking down Henna Street, so I pulled a big u-turn, stopped beside them and bailed out of the car (as you do) and said "Nice Vizsla. I've not seen him around here before!" and she says "Thanks. That's because we are from Cairns and have only been here for half an hour!" Seems they were just staying in the Caravan Park there....... We have had the same 'poop problem' at our place. People letting their dogs crap on the lawn every morning, or, as in your case, dragging the dog along as it dribbles sh*t the whole length of our house! I started staking-out my own house and letting rip on anyone who let their dog crap on my lawn and then walk away. I have yelled at so many people and none of them argued back..... they know what they are doing is wrong. It's not such a problem anymore, but I can reach the curtains from my bed so if I hear voices or a dog chain etc I can very quickly check on what's going on!

Couldn't believe it! I saw a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever walking down Whites Road yesterday. Who'd have thought! I have actually seen a few 'uncommon' breeds around town of late, including a Keeshond, Bernese MD, Deerhound, the Toller, plus a few others I can't recall right now.... Good luck for the local Agility Trials Jess! Wish I was in town to get out there for a squizz.

We went to W'Bool show the first year we arrived in town and haven't been back since. Pretty disappointing show for a reasonable sized town. Will be off camping so certainly wont be going this year either. But we normally have dogs entered in Melbourne Royal so take the kids to that.

'bout time luck was on your side Tenties! Good for you! (you look after them tyres.... no more burnouts in the back-streets!)

Try having a look HERE

Yes. And I have binoculars! No, wait. That sounds a bit creepy.....
-
You stalking me? No, haven't done anything to the car for a while besides wash it! I got it booked in on Thursday for some Turbo "improvements" though
-
Well done getting the two passes Jess! I didn't know you were trialling at that level. You must be very dedicated.

Aye, 'twas. Just picked up our new trailer from the engineers. We're slowly having a trailer converted into a wicked camper-trailer; 5 rooms and over 30 feet long! Just had all the suspension upgraded and stuff. It's going to take months but it's getting there. Slowly. Were off on a big camping trip in a few weeks. We will be tenting it this time around though....

Great pics! Looks like a perfect summers day on a tropical island.

Well, what a sen-bloody-sational day it was today! Glad you got to Killarney and had a great time, and sorry I didn't join you. Last night I went to the 3WAY FM Annual Dinner Dance and presentation of the 3WAY Mona Swinton Awards. My dad is a presenter on 3WAY FM (Rockin' Ross ) and last night won his 8th consecutive Mona Award for his category (easy listening). He was very honored to have won this year as there were more entries in his category than ever before and he has spent much of his last year in and out of hospital fighting cancer and other conditions, so to win it again was extra special for him I think. So, I woke with a hang-over from the night (as you do) to a beautiful day, and suddenly remembered I'd promised to help out at the 3WAY FM Open Day today. Then I took the kids to the skate park as promised (apparently!) and then made it out to Port Fairy for the Sheepdog Trials. So I had a lovely day even though it was a dog-free day AND I didn't make it to Killarney with you. I got back this afternoon just in time to receive my latest arrivals.... two beautiful Shingleback Lizards who I have been waiting a LOooooooooNG time for. Life is good.

I'd like to go on a regular walk with you all too, but making a time and sticking to it can be a problem.... fitting in around school drop offs, kinder drop offs, kinder pick ups, school pick ups, shopping, play group twice a week etc etc etc. Normally my chances to walk are a 'last minute' decision! Always happy to try and get along with you when I can though. :D tlc how was your walk today?

Fingers crossed for Sale, Jess! Good luck! :D Let us know how you get on.

Fantastic! Good on them. "Blue Mercury" - Love it! Yes Rez is Tarni's litter brother and older brother to Vitasz. He came to visit a few weeks ago and he is an awesome dog. Truly 'show quality' and excelling at obedience beginning trialling very soon. Rez is one of those dogs you wish you never sold as a 'pet' because he should be in the show ring. (I'm trying to convince his Mum!) His sister Pepper (now Lola) lives just around the corner from him since we rehomed her recently. Their owners get them together every single day and also baby-sit each others dogs which is lovely for them. I have subscribed to your youtube channel tlc, so will check out your videos when I have some time.

What did I miss? Jj who is that gorgeous little cherub?? Found it on the net... think it's Tully eating ice cream!
-
For your dogs to find me they must be Dirty-Ratters!

Oh we ARE in fine form today arn't we JJ no i doubt if i will get one as i let my membership go for 6 months at one point and yes it did matter as i was going to do the judges exam but had to have been a member continuously for so many years....i cracked it severly over that so never bothered with the judges thingy again.. Actually I have been so pissed-off with DogsVic in the past, I am unsure why I even retained my membership at times. Even now I am thinking of joining SACA or similar and registering my litters through them. Can't see why I couldn't do that do you?
