Well I went to the paint desk and you weren't there! I reckon you must have just knocked off. I was on my way home from Bunnings when I saw you. Good trip too, in that I spent lots of money! :D Don't complain to ME about you not getting more pup[pies! I'm all for it!
-
I knock off work early tomorrow and am heading out to Bunnings so I may see you there! I need some building materials. I have to build a new lizard enclosure at the new house coz if I tear down the one they are in here to move it to the new place they will all run away! Still, it works in my favor as it then means I will have TWO lizard enclosures which may lead to twice the lizards! Now I just need a way to double the number of snakes..... Don't think the OH would be so keen on that, although she is warming to them! Tez? Where you at? Don't you love us anymore? Maybe crayfish will tempt you back?

No no no this will just not do. This has gone on long enough! Tenties spill the proverbial beans or I am gonna have to get cross! Sooooooooooo..................... Is it a sheep?
-
What?!!! With THOSE lashes?
-
Poor Tully! My youngest Jemma gets called a boy often too! Just coz she hasn't got her hair in pig tails! Geez she's only 1! Bet Tenties has bought a new chicken.

Thanks a lot Jess. Good to know, as I will be heading to Ballarat at some point over the next week.

RuralPug I am told the Jubilee Park is booked out, I think Tim&Tanya has the right idea though... Best you try and get in somewhere in Port Fairy. Only about 25 mins from the Show. Accomodation is hard to get any time the Speedway is happening, least of all a weekend of dog shows too! I'd have been happy to have a few 'showies' stay with us, but we are moving house on that weekend Hope you are able to find somewhere!

Working sorry RuralPug I will give it some thought today and ask around. Check in later tonight!

Geez Cav, 0.01! :D She is very lucky. Glad she is ok now. Seems Allansford was spared the worst... be it from sand-bagging efforts or receding waters. Some very lucky people there in low-lying homes. RJ LOVE the car! Problem is I was used to spotting you in the green-machine, so hope you don't think I'm a snob if I don't recognize you in the new saloon! tez - glad you are still about. Anyone heard from Lizzy1??? tlc - thanks for putting up that video of the falls on FB. I think I can see my car there in the car park... we were there yesterday afternoon! Just went back to the Falls now and the waters have dropped a hell of a lot. There are actually 'Falls' there again!

:D

Dunno Cav. I would've thought they'd be ok there.... might be worth you giving them a call for first-hand info.
-
I may go back to the Falls tomorrow with the camera, if they are expecting it to peak overnight.

Hmmmmm. It's sounding more and more like a puppy! Jess I didn't get photos. It was an impromptu decision to go and have a look while we were out so no camera. I did have the HandyCam in the car but batteries flat...... as always. Re Panmure Bridge. I heard similar Jess.... that the bridge will need inspecting before being reopened once the water recedes. RJ! Come in here at once! Agree we need pics! Maybe I'll go check Facebook..... Tez? Tez? Hellllllllllloooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably off for a lobster dinner.... :D

We just took a drive to the Falls - amazing sight! What's even more amazing is the number of people there! The car park was full and people were parked along the road for a long way in both directions. The falls are no longer falls, but rather a raging torrent. I've seen it pretty high, but not like this. On the way home we went through Allansford and there are homes flooded there already. There are gangs of people about, filling and locating sand-bags trying to hold back the river. From what I can tell, once the river comes over the road (only inches off that now) then much of Allansford will be awash as many of the homes there are below the height of the highway. Pretty scary stuff for Allansford folk. Toward the mouth, the Hopkins has flooded 'Proudfoots' already, although I don't know to what extent. The River Cruise Boat has been taken from its river mooring and moved for safety.

Thanks guys. Was going to go to Melbourne today but think I'll wait. Those detours are ok but you never know what other roads will close during the day. Poor Laura. Still, there are worse towns to be stuck in than Terang! Find a Pub and settle down!

Glad your folks place is ok for now, Cav. Fingers crossed for them Horsham is copping it quite hard... I have friends on a property there and I am unable to get them on the phone. Their Mobile is off and their home phone is ringing out. Does anyone know if the Princes is open through to Melbourne today??????

Thanks tlc the party went well. We had it at the 'Springers' Gym, which is great as the kids can run themselves ragged, eat, and go home without trashing MY house! The cake was a hit amongst the girls Now I have four very tired kidlettes just in bed. Nice pick of Miggs, Mawson and your lot there.... you could almost be mistaken that it was a hot day!

I know there are a number of registered breeders in and around Creswick but haven't heard how they fared. I do know the town copped it pretty hard...... again.

Thanks tlc! Yes and one of your awesome pics is also on our "Vizslas Needing Homes" page! I am finally happy with my website. I spent $2000 on my last website and was never really happy with it. This one cost $50!!! You are right about Rez... He is Tarni's litter brother and almost died as a baby. We bottle-fed him for a long time and had him on a hot water bottle fearing the worst, but he pulled through and is now an awesome dog. He is kicking-butt at Mornington Obedience and will begin serious trialling soon. His owner has also been told by many 'vizsla people' that Rez should really be in the show-ring but unfortunately they're just not interested. Every time I see him I get shivers, coz he's just so bloody nice!

OK, here we go! As per Jess' request... an inflatable pool complete with children and pool toys! ...and now we're off to bed.
