It's still 'kinda' working tonight.... just keeps switching itself off all the time! I installed a new power supply last week as it died then, and now this problem... could just need some thermal paste or a new fan (poss over-heating?) but I'm hoping it doesn't need a whole new processor! The place we take it are pretty good, and we normally have it back that day or the next. Last time I got it fixed at Multicom because my regular shop was closed for holidays, and they had it for nearly 3 weeks and charged me nearly $200, and when I told my usual guy about it and what had been done, he reckons he would have had it back to me before lunch and charged me $40!!!

My computer is slowly dying and giving me a heap of grief. Taking it into the shop tomorrow so may be off the air for a wee bit. Sure you'll all cope

Yeah I only discovered it a couple of weeks ago too!

Hi All, Does that mean if in the unfortunate event that i have a visiting snake i can call you? Because i don't like snakes and I'm not too keen on lizards or rats either. Yeah but don't call me for RATS!!! I really can't deal with them!

Firstly near the Bats Ridge caves, outside Portland, and the others around Tower Hill.

Yeah there was an extraordinary amount of seaweed washed up too, so I reckon you're right there...

tlc there is no 'good' time of year for snakes, in the sense that they don't actually hibernate as such, but they 'brumate', that is, they decrease their activity and conserve energy during cold periods, but don't go into a deep sleep like the way a bear does when it hibernates. The problem with this is (for those who don't like snakes!) is that even in the middle of a very cold winter a snake will leave it;'s nest and become active on any warm day we may have. So you can be pretty confident of not seeing any snakes on a really cool/wet day, but don't become complacent just because it is 'winter'. Me, Chan and the two younger girls went snake hunting on Friday and Saturday, and despite being cool(ish) and overcast, we saw quite a few Copperheads, Tigers, and even an Eastern Brown out and about trying to find a patch of sun. These guys were very nice and let me stand right over them for pics. The second one gave me a fright, as when he heard the shutter 'click', he took off so fast he left the ground, via a lap of my foot!

Was at Killarney this morning. Lots and lots of dead Penguins about. They were mostly covered up with sand but the dogs were digging them up one after another. Others were laying right on top, so I'm guessing they didn't all wash up with the same tide. Very sad.

Am I Jealous? Damn straight! We have had the odd 'escapee' in the house. That freaks the V's out enough! Recently had Tarni 'bring' me a Green Tree Frog!

Lovely, Monah! Are these in your backyard? That is a Green Tree Frog (Litoria Caraulea) and an Eastern Bearded Dragon (Pogona Barbata). AND a very lovely Vizsla too! I have Green Tree Frogs as well as Central (WA) Bearded Dragons (Pogona Viticeps) but I'd LOVE to have them running wild around here! Thank you! Edited coz I'm an idiot.

Oh that's right... I remember pics of Boof & Bruno. Are you talking about the walk at Albert Park in Melbourne tlc? Let me know if you guys do the local walk.... I may do it, just for some fun.

No I'm not going on the walk tlc, are you? You went last year with Shannon, didn't you? Think I remember the pics!

There are lots of people who click here in the Training threads. Would be worth looking/asking in there.

I post my packs off to the new owners a week or so before I fly their puppy. This way I can include all the flight details etc in their too. I always phone them with details, but like to know they have the important stuff written down. I don't include bags of dry food or other heavy/bulky items with interstate puppy packs.

His name is VISANBOX Ace Of Spades-"Tyson", we were at the Warrnambool shows. I do go to Bunnings every now and then. My boy came from Candelo, near Bega in NSW. He's a son of CH. Guntop DIAMONDSRTRUMPS, and his mother is a Guntop bitch. We are going ok in the show ring, not as well as I would have hoped, but the judges prefer the flashy markings over plain like my boy. Currently waiting on a bitch from local breeders, KESDAR. So hopefully i'll be in the ring with a bitch puppy very soon!! Just wanna say that you can't go far wrong with a Kesdar. They are lovely ladies, too! I have always liked the Guntop Boxers as well. :D

Awww thanks Guys! Damn that child! Yep had a good day. The OH made me a snake cake (apparently a Vizsla cake was too difficult! Had a good day, had to work unfortunately but thems the breaks. Good thing is I turned 37, but had been thinking all year that I already WAS 37, so I don't feel like I've aged today at all! ;)

Sorry Wirey I can't help, as I live in the West. I didn't know you were now a Southerner..... we'll be able to finally meet one day! I rarely get to shows these days, but usually get along to the Royal etc. -

You've been blaming your 'typos' on your keyboards keys sticking, and as I could make little sense of your previous post, I assumed the problem was persisting!
