Love your latest signature tlc.... fantastic! No, the Croc was coming this month, but our big tank has been delayed until the last week in January, so the Crocodile will be here soon after. Depends how long it takes me to get everything set-up for it I guess. I have everything ready to go.... a massive twin-system filtration system pumping 4400Liters an hour.... 2 x 300Watt Water Heaters.... 3 x 170 Watt Mercury-Vapour Heat Globes for warmth and UV.... gonna cost me an absolute fortune to run.... still, if the Wife wants a Crocodile... a Crocodile she shall have! I have had to work out how I can install everything inside his tank without him crushing it (Crocs will destroy anything they can get their jaws on!). All the filter pipes and heaters will be placed within heavy-grade PVC pipes which are being siliconed into each corner of the tank, with lots and lots of holes drilled into them to allow water-flow for heating and filtration.... good times! (I might just maybe starting to get just a little bit excited about him coming though! ) Assume Bronson is 100% again now???

There seem to be a lot active at the moment. A friend of mine owns a contracting Snake Relocation business in Melbourne (1300REPTILE) and he is catching an incredible amount of Tiger Snakes this 'season'. He pulled one from a child's bedroom in suburban Altona late last night! I've had a lot of calls for Tigers here too, which is odd.... we normally get a heap of Copperheads around town...
-
Glad to hear Bronson is on the mend.... nothing a bit of rest wont fix by the sound. Awful for your friend to have lost another dog.... very sad. Often the problem with snake-'proofing' dog pens is that the snake will work tirelessly to get in there for water (and very often succeeds) but then can't escape the pen in a hurry when the dogs start really causing them grief. A trapped snake is a dangerous snake, and at such a time they will not hesitate to bite, unfortunately. Edited to ask.... where does she live? I've received a lot of calls for snakes ID as Tigers lately.

How did Bronson pull-up today???
-
Uhum!..... I just so happen to have some Giant Cockroaches and Bird-Eating Spiders arriving shortly! ;) I thought the Noorat Shows were on a month or so ago???

Sounds fantastic! Will check them out this week. Thanks Santa!

Dunno.... haven't seen Tarni for a while! She came home, had a huge drink of water and promptly disappeared! Probably under one of the kids' beds. RJ That trampoline of yours looks awesome.... where did you get the 'shelter' for it??? I've just bought the kids a big 14 foot round/enclosed trampoline, but it doesn't have a cover on it and it looks like a fantastic idea!

Lovin' it!!! Copied from my FB page (so I don't have to type it again!).... What an awesome day here today.... 43 degrees and I have the day off!!! Spent the morning with kids and dog (and the wife tagged along too!) down at Killarney Beach.... just perfect down there today. Came home to a few Bacardi & OJ's beside the pool. Life doesn't get much better! Why can't I get paid for doing THIS???? Might take them all to the Town Beach this evening when it cools down a little. We love this weather. It's too hot to do anything..... perfect!! tlc it would have sucked today at the BGS.

It is listed in the latest VicDog, but I don't have it handy to check now.... Last weekend in Feb?????

I'm not doing anything for NYE.... my Brother is in town so we are going to go "fishing" (drinking) tonight instead. Love the badge tlc..... so 'you!' Great to catch up with RJ today at the shop..... haven't seen most of you here for ages! If I'm not in here again for a while..... "Happy New Year to y'all!"

Merry Christmas, local DOLers!!! Tarni got some really cool stuff from Santa, but this Bunny is her favorite... she wont put it down! (Except for some liver!) And a HUGE congratulations to Tim & Tanya..... Wonderful news!!! A lil playmate for Bruno. Nice!

tlc - Glad your Mum liked the shop. It seems everyone likes the shop.... school holidays are definitely here. I reckon we are getting 200 people a day through, just 'having a look!'. I've been flat-out of course, with Christmas. Besides a couple of 'quietish' days lately, we've been very busy. Problem is, we are getting low on lots of 'consumable' stuff, and the freight companies are 2-3 days behind in their deliveries, so I'm hoping it will all arrive before Christmas!!! That's awful about your friends dog. Glad the pups are 5 weeks and not 5 days, though. Just a 'freak accident' I guess. Get in here Cavalblaze with your news!!! Otherwise we will have to hold the Awesome-Foursome RANSOM until tlc spills the beans!!! Pragnent? New Chickens?? PUPPY??? Awww c'mon, you know things like this kill me, tlc, What is it?????

Took her to the RSPCA first thing. They knew her immediately, and weren't even going to enter her into the system, as she's been there so many times they know her owners! Now what really pisses me off, is that if your dog 'escapes' that often, why wouldn't you have contact details on her collar??? She was wearing a collar, but no 'tag' at all. Morons. Had she been wearing ID, we could have called them our-self straight away, but instead we had to have her at our home for the night, crying and carrying on... PLUS we ended up with fleas in our car and our house. I was really cross. It makes you think twice about 'rescuing' dogs like that. Had we not however, she'd be a pancake on Raglan Parade.

FOUND - WEST WARRNAMBOOL. FEMALE STAFFY. PURPLE COLLAR. NO ID. CALL 5562-9490 ASAP OR WILL BE HEADED TO THE RSPCA FIRST THING TOMORROW
-
Good news. Hope it all works out for them both.
-
Yeah nice idea. See what I can do.... ;) sorry, missed your question.... the Crocodile is for our home.
-
Chan knows about the Croc of course (it is her Crocodile) but the snake is a surprise!

. We're not going anywhere over Christmas. It's too hard to get away with so many animals at home, and of course in the shop. Also, we are trading right-through apart from the public holidays. Geez tlc you sound so organized and your Mum sounds like she is getting very spoilt!! I'm spoiling Chantel this year too.... I have bought her a ten-foot long Diamond Python who I have to collect next week from Melbourne.... she is going to be so excited! Also, we have the Crocodile arriving soon after Christmas so we will be busy getting organized for its arrival. We have had a massive 'tank' custom-built in Melbourne which is coming up here on the back of a truck next week. The things we do for our pets, 'eh? Still, I can't wait.... always wanted a Croc. I am so excited about him coming I don't even really care about Christmas this year! tlc, spewing about the B&B... lucky you found out before you headed down there though! ETS... LOVE your XMas signature tlc!

CHEAP SOFT DOG CRATES!!!! CHEAPER THAN WHOLESALE!!! Hey All! Dunno if anyone here is interested, but a sales rep called me today (knowing I have dogs) and told me about a pretty awesome deal on soft dog crates. These are a quality "Pet One" Crate with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and are available in three sizes. I wont be stocking these at all, but if anyone would like one/some they can call into Repti-Life and place an order. These are going cheaper than wholesale prices. I don't want to make lots of money on these, and if I order them with my regular weekly order, I will even cover the freight costs. They would arrive in about a week of me placing the order. ONLY draw-back is that these must be PRE-PAID to get these savings. Details are as follows... LARGE - 76L X 50.5W X 48H WHOLESALE PRICE - $99. RRP - $189. MY PRICE - $99. (code #55606) Extra LARGE - 91L X 61W X 58H WHOLESALE PRICE - $122. RRP - $239. MY PRICE - $119. (code #55607) Extra EXTRA LARGE - 106L X 71W X 68H WHOLESALE PRICE - $142. RRP - $269+. MY PRICE - $139. (code #55608) If anyone is interested, please let me know here by the end of next week, or come in to Repti-Life (Norfolk Plaza). I just thought this was a pretty good offer. I'll try to find a pic to post up here soon. It's been very quiet in here lately. Hope everyone's ok... probably just busy preparing for the holidays etc. Sorry for the crappy pic.....
