My 8 weeks old golden retriever girl is finally coming tomorrow . I have a few questions. - I have two size crates: XXL that she can grow into and a small, cat size crate. Which one should I use first? Some people say it's better to have a smaller one for housebreaking but some say that it's better if a pup can have a bigger one. - Also I am going to keep her in the bathroom when I will not be able to supervise her (eg going shopping or sleeping). Should I put the crate there and take it out to the living room when I am available? Or should I keep it in the same spot? - Is 8 weeks old to early to start house training? (I just read in a book I should start house training at about 12 weeks) Thank you so much! maria+laffi

It's a pretty hot summer now and my 1 year old golden is shedding quite a bit. Can I clip her? I have been grooming her quite a bit but am not very successful at removing the dead hair. Do you know any special brushes/tools that would be recommended for her coat type? Which online stores could I get them from? My significant other also seems to be quite allergic to her. Do you know any good ways for decreasing his allergy reactions? Because getting rid of her is just not an option Thank you! Maria (and Laffi)

Hello, My golden baby girl is coming in few weeks and I wanted to get her a collar. However I don't know what size to get. Any suggestions how long should the collar be to fit her at 8 weeks and a little longer? Do you know any good websites where I could get one? Thank you!
