  1. Thanks heaps Ness. I think I will go for C3 with Laffi (because I have heard a lot of complains about C5 and even vaccinated dogs get the Kennel Cough)
  2. My usual vet is AWL vet clinic. They advise annual vaccinations though and this would be the first time they will do the titer test. I want to do the titer test for my 2yo and vaccinate my 1yo (still haven't decided if it will be C3 or C5). You could split the difference and do a C4

  4. OK, just talked to my usual vet and the price they gave me for titer test would be $138.... When I asked which lab they are using they said Vetpath in WA. Usually my vet is excellent with prices but this time they are not so great. Well still better then the Uni vets I guess. ETA Slightly off topic, but I have a 13mo who will be due for her vaccination soon. I am considering going for C3 rather than C5 as we don't use kennels anyway. Would that be a good idea? I am not sure about the Kennel Cough vaccination. I wanted to skip it but the Animal Options website says: "Annual vaccinations for Kennel Cough (Bordetella & Leptospirosis) for dogs that are in contact with other dogs are a good idea." Their website is excellent btw: http://www.animaloptions.com.au/articles-a...-vaccinate.html
  5. Was the clicker in Kmart in the dog/pet section? I have never seen it there.
  6. I love Triple Crown and the I-clicker I use the I-clicker at home as it's softer and the triple crown in the clubs.
  7. well that sounds soooo much better than $500!!!!! I am going to call my vet soon, and if they can't do it I will definitely follow up on this option
  8. I totally agree. The more people make inquiries the better!
  9. Thank you so much . I will definitely call them is my usual vet can't help me.
  10. Thanks heaps oakway. I am supposed to call my vet around 4PM to see what they found out. I will let them know how to proceed if they also advise me to go through the US lab.
  11. I will definitely keep on going :D I just can't believe how hard it is
  12. Thank you so much Tess32 . I will continue my quest
  13. Thanks Mita . I just called them. They don't do it often (ever ) so they are going to find out about it and let me know. The UQ called me back . Apparently they would have to send it to US :D because it's not done in Australia and it will be $500 ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! They said: "You should vaccinate. It will be so much easier." I tried to explain that there are labs in Australia doing the test, but was cut off and was told that it what "their procedure is to ship it to US".
  14. I know! When I was doing my research about the vaccinations, it didn't even cross my mind that the vets would be so ignorant when I ask about it!
  15. Yes this is exactly what I was told by the only vet who knew what I was talking about . The rest of them said something along the lines : we have never done it and are not planning on doing it
  16. Thanks Mita . I just called them. They don't do it often (ever ) so they are going to find out about it and let me know.
  17. Does anyone know a vet that does the titer test in Brisbane or Ipswich area? I just called a few vets and they had no idea what I am talking about

  19. Thank you again Tess32! What are you using for the intestinal worms, if you don't mind me asking?
  20. What are the options for heartworm and intestinal worms prevention for dogs with MRD1 sensitivity? Are there any other options apart from Sentinel?
