Here's hoping they look in to it further, I'm thinking the same as you Cody I am so glad he is safe. He really struck a chord with me.
-
I noticed that too. My comment stating he looks like he has a muscle disease is gone. I hope he finds a home.

How about educating themselves to know that males in the wild kill the young. They could have separated them.

Apparently because they didn't want this one to be attacked as well. Got to love their logic.

A zoo in Switzerland has euthanised a healthy 3 month old bear cub after a male bear killed its sibling. What were they doing in the same enclosure???

Could you take a photo of it HW and contact the council again?

I don't know many people who believe that dogs being stolen is a myth. But many people, myself included, are sick of the assumption that every single dog theft is for dog fighting purposes, when they have been yet to see any credible evidence of this being the case even on a small scale let alone on a massive scale as hysterical facebooking posts indicate. Glad to see these dogs have been returned home and the police are taking it so seriously. In other threads here, some dolers have refused to believe dogs are being stolen.
-
And people still think dog stealing is a myth...
-
The pet store released a statement. I'll see if I can find it. Edit: I can't copy and paste it.

Your contributions to this thread are elevating, Cody. One telling me not to be quick to judge when my post wasn't judging anything about the attack and this one telling PL not to be rude. So many posters aren't giving an opinion so much as blaming the jogger. You clarified you weren't being rude so I don't understand what point you're trying to make or why you're even bringing it back up again.
-
The thing is we DON'T know the full story.
-
Powerlegs, everyone is entitled to their opinion. No need to be rude.
-
Somewhere between her side and his side is the truth. I wouldn't be so quick to judge.

I think they're having a dig at the zoo and how the zookeepers should be put down instead of the animals. And how ridiculous the laws are.

I have a feeling they would get their lions from those breeding places/canned hunting places in Africa.
-
He's very lucky the rspca don't have him.
-
And they're in the news again for euthanising cubs and an adult lion.
-
Like I said, Council stated last week that they were ready to release the dog but they had not had any contact from the owners re payment.
-
The Brisbane Cify Council stated last week the owners still hadn't made any contact re payment, that's why the dog was still impounded.
-
Um, how about fencing your property so the dog doesn't roam. Or better still, keep it inside. Poor dog. Bloody stupid owner.
-
This particular dog was picked up a few times. Council stated that no attempt has been made to pay for the dog to be released. There are a hell of a lot of inconsistencies in the story. If my dog was picked up by council I sure as hell would make sure it wouldn't happen again. If it did, you bet I'd be in contact with council asap regarding payment. THAT is my issue with the whole story.

Death isn't an appropriate punishment for a dog escaping the yard. I never said that it was.
-
True. But the dog should not have been wandering the streets.
