Mortonplace, I do believe RSPCA euthanase animals that can be rehomed. Thank you for posting the video. Please don't feel I am attacking you, I'm not at all, just simply stating my opinion. Like I said, I understand you are passionate about the subject, as am I but the video, to me, seemed angry, over the top and had un-necessary references. But that's the beauty of free thinking and speech, each and every one of us having the freedom to have different opinions. :D

I don't think death is a joke, where did you get that from? I mean, is there any factual evidence that the first dog went to a home where he/she was left in the snow? It seems to me, more likely that's where the dog was rescued from. Is the any evidence the 3 dogs mentioned at the end of the video are actually dead? The gun and blood references were over the top. I get you are passionate about the subject and so am I but that video was way over the top. Just my opinion.

Hi everyone! Inspired by belgian.blue's dol friend thread, I'm throwing a line out and seeing if anyone wants to meet up next Sunday, 24th October at Nundah, Brisbane for brunch/lunch? I am thinking either Espresso Train (at end of Station Road) or Jam on Sandgate Road (if it's still there?) or I would welcome any other suggestions for nice coffee shops at Nundah. Feel free to post in this thread or send a p.m my way! Would love to have any excuse to have a nice get together/gossip. :D :D ETA I am also open to Saturday 30th October as well.

If you read the news reports its not just Alma Park Zoo thats getting hit! I'm well aware of the other news reports, but this topic is about Alma Park Zoo so reports about other zoos is irrelevant here.

I'm also concerned that this is at least the 5th time in as many years that Alma Park Zoo has been broken into. Security is seriously lacking at that place.

Is there another report with more information?

Thanks I was wondering if perhaps I was wasting my time, and then thought, even if I am, I've tried. I will let everyone know when I get a response. How sad. A bit late, I know, but FYI, there is a vet at Burpengary open til 9 on week nights, and they are good.

That dolpin left and never returned in 2008.

The Greencross vets are a chain store. Would never go to the, way to generic and expensive. Would rather my independant vet who has been treating pets for 25 years.

If you do get a pet sitter, make sure they are experienced with looking after 4+ animals at one time and that you like them. Ask around at work etc. Word of mouth is great, which is how I get most of my business, that way you know someone is good. In regards to been worried about gates being left open, I triple check everything, so make sure they (petsitter) has ocd about checking things.
