He looks very innocent!

Seriously????????????? Unintentional gold. I can't quite convey how wild I am at what you have done with SOMEONE ELSE'S words, but I assure you I will find a way if you ever do it to mine. I don't care enough about strangers on the internet with differing opinions to mine. :)

Cody, you can have any opinion you like, just be prepared to defend it. By having that opinion, you may lead someone to consider a position they would not have considered otherwise. Also people who agree with you may not be confident enough to post in the face of opposition, but will do so if there is some support. Of course, you have to be prepared for a bit of flack, and people running into other threads and incorrectly describing your ideology, but that's life. eh? Just for the record - I have great respect for the police - the right ones - not including Terry Lewis - and I also respect what they do, and that it is a difficult and underpaid job. I am friends with some policemen, including a couple of AFT but that doesn't change my opinion about this. I don't really care. They can argue amongst themselves.

My Beautiful Buddy Hung At The Groomers ....how Can This Happen ;(
Cody replied to Cazstaff's topic in General Dog Discussion
Congrats luckypup. I hope cazstaff is doing ok. -
Do you know the difference between having an opinion and claiming something as fact? You made the claim that police were corrupt and you had evidence, youtube videos  And news reports on google. Don't twist my words. I'd love to see your evidence that no police officer EVER has never been corrupt. :)

Time will tell. I did :) - having only skimmed the thread it made me go back and check what had been actually been written (it seems rather rude and childish to alter someones words when quoting, so I wanted to clarify what had or had not been said) Someone on the internet offended me. Oh the horror!Fact is there a A LOT of corrupt police officers who lie through their teeth. That's common knowledge. Before you put words in my mouth. I said a lot, not all. ;) For you, Reverend Jo. I clearly stated a lot, not all.

Today I learned it's ok to have an opinion, as long as everyone else agrees with it.
-
Point me in the direction I said all police are corrupt.
-
not sure what point you are trying to make there? I'm not offended, just expressed an opinion - as did you (so I assume you are not so thin skinned that you are offended by people expressing an opinion of the way you chose to express your opinion). As for common knowledge that "there are A LOT of corrupt police officers", I prefer to use actual data :) Not offended at all. But I don't feel the need to make snide insults to get my point across. :)
-
Police also lie their heads off - until they realise the incident was recorded. Fixed that for you. Where is the "some police" or even "a lot of police"? You clearly meant to generalise. I noticed you haven't commented on whether you've ever called the police. I have. Years ago. Once when my next door neighbour had a lot of expensive items stolen and another when a female neighbour was being beaten up by her boyfriend. No officers attended either report.

You'll find your evidence there. ;)

Police also lie their heads off - until they realise the incident was recorded. Fixed that for you. Hardly. In future please refrain from changing my quotes. I'd hate for someone to think I actually did say that and that is precisely the impression your editing conveys. Incident recording keeps everyone honest. If that's your point, make it for yourself. Police are people by the way, regardless of what you think. I'm sure everyone here would be intelligent enough to go back to your actual quote. ;)

Was the dog actually barking and growling and rushing at the police, or was it coming towards them in a friendly manner? What next? Someones Corgi or Golden Retreiver gets shot just because it's coming towards a police officer?
-
Aww that is great news. :)

 I would have loved to have seem that!

Aww how cute! Happy belated birthday Takoda!

Does it matter? Those sound like very serious injuries Maybe not to you but I'd like to know why it happened.
-
Hmm. But why did the dog attack?
-
But that's in the States. I wish Australia was more dog friendly.
-
Oh dear. I'm sorry that's happened. So horrible.
