Thanks for the support everyone much appreciated. We ended up with one boy who is doing well. Main concern now mastitis as mum has loads of milk so watching for that and rotating him to different nipples each time. Congrats on your brood SBT they look lovely and Cynda looks content

It has been a difficult night/ morning at our home. Our girl began whelping at 2am and the first pup is the only survivor of a litter of 5. Totally gutted. Hope all goes well for everyone else still waiting

Congrats Missymoo. marinapoint- the puppies are devine, I hoep from here is it gets brighter for you, I can't imagine how difficult it must have been. Still not much happening here so going to bed to try and get a good nights sleep

Good luck SBT and missymoo. I hope you have trouble free whelpings. Not much happening here. Slight temp drop so far today a little panting and the odd bit of nesting. Sonmaybe tomorrow for us. My mentor has been over to check her out and thinks it will happen inthe next 24 hours otherwise we will move to the August thread

Congrats Allerzeit and Marinapoint on your new arrivals. Nothing happening here today although I have been able to watch Fanta's belly moving temp still the same as the rest of the week too.

We are expecting our first litter of GSDs on July 30th, very exciting to see babies on ultra sound today. Busy getting our whelping area organised and geting the necessary goodies.

I think both options are great and agree with oakway here. my experience is obedience related and although it's written that your correct email address must be supplied you would be suprised the number of people who when collecting their numbers expect to get a complimentry catalogue as they state they haven't recieved it by email- I keep a record of those emails that bounce back now but often people do forget to print the emailed version and then don't want to pay.

If there is a malabsorbtion issue it is very common for dogs to defacat more than usual including during the night, if Jenna didn't used to do this and is now doing it regularly then there is likely a problem. Maybe a vet check to discuss all your concerns would be best.

Agree Pers, large sloopy stools can indicate malabsorbtion, meaning the dog simply can't process it all
