I usually only give the yolk and would crush up the shell other wise mine two just leave it in the bowl

At puppy preschool we had a puppy that was always jumping up to get what he wanted. The trainer said just spin really quickly so that your back is facing him each time as he starts to jump and then turn back around and get him to sit & treat. Good luck hope it all goes well.

King has been given brisket bones since he was 8 weeks old, he will be 15 weeks old on monday and he just loves them. I gave him one this morning as i was walking out the door to leave for work and he was finished it before i finished setting the alarm and locking the door. I dont give any chicken bits as i was told not to by the breeder.

I agree with Shellbyville...i have a GSD puppy and he was very mouthy, so i used the treat method always getting him to sit when he would greet me and i would treat. If he got impatient and went to mouth he would get a loud uh uh and i would walk away and come back a few minutes later and i would have him sit, drop and then would treat. After strictly following that he was vastly improved within a week and now he rarely mouths at all, and if he does he gives me an "oops shouldnt have done that look" and quickly sits and drops and tries to give paw (shake) to make up. I initally tried the puppy yelp technique that dogs4fun suggested to you but it only worked the first half dozen times for me and then puppy just ignored the yelp and kept mouthing. I think the trick to this one is in perfecting the puppy yelp and i just could not master it although i would love to know what the neighbours thought was going on as i am sure you could hear me two blocks away. Good luck and just keep trying because it will not stop without a lot of effort on your behalf....

We feed our puppy Optimum (the puppy mix). You can get it from any pet shop. I have heard that Advance is also a really good one but you need to buy that from the Vet Clinic.

When i first brought my puppy home at 8 weeks we had to do this as his poos were that runny they were like water. We mixed about two cups of boiled rice with one boiled chicken thigh fillet (chopped into little tiny peices) and two tablespoons of plain natural yogurt...we gave him one cup of the mix for breekfast, lunch and dinner and he was back to normal by the following morning.

My little boy loves his yoghurt and mixed with rice it actual helps dry things up when he has a case of the slopies...
