Uk Judge Banned For 12 Months For Misconduct
whippets replied to ellz's topic in General Dog Discussion
You really do need to make up your mind. People ARE having a go at this arrogant man. No one has said anything negative about Yogi and you carry that the dog has been dragged into the debate (yet I don't see where the dog has) then you turn around and complain that no one is talking about the dogs wins. The person charged with the offence admitted it happened and is paying the penalty. I presume he is getting over the incident, maybe you should to. -

I am pretty sure no one is slagging off at the dog but rather the very arrogant handler. No matter how great a dog is it can always be beat by other dogs. Every dog has it's day or time span and that doesn't last forever. This dog has had an amazing run and they should be grateful for that. -
Tips And Tricks For Giving Dogs Their Medication
whippets replied to Pepi's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Yup, I do the same. Place on the back of the throat and down the hatch. 5 seconds and it's all done. Then give a treat. Dogs get a clue pretty quickly when meds get hidden. -
It's more than a mistake. My uncle would have a heart attack if a woman bend over with no underwear on. His wife got palpatations when a young man stepped one leg onto a box and his testicle dangled out the inside part of his shorts. ugh. Yeah they are "conservative"

Are the roll eyes at me? Please explain. Pauline Hanson? Nay, the eye roll is for the arrogant UK man having a hissy fit about getting a RCC. -

I only saw round leather thong on that site. I'll make my first attempt this weekend. I bought some "leatherette" to practice on then I'll buy the real stuff. I got a couple of gorgeous blue brindle babies here and I'd love to make a dark grey and silver leather thonged lead. I'll post pix of the results when I do them.

Dogs First Domesticated In The Middle East
whippets replied to SkySoaringMagpie's topic in In The News
Going by the heiroglyphs and the pictures in tombs that follow the life of a pharoah, I figured the first domesticated dogs where in egypt thus the pharoah hound or something similar. I was always under the impression that the first domesticated dogs were in the Middle East. -
Found these on the internet. BTW These are NOT, I repeat, NOT me If you are eating or have a nun or children around, Please avert eyes now. . . . . . . . . . . . ick but

What Is Your Dogs Favourite Foods?
whippets replied to Pepi's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Sonnet loves chicken. Cooked any way as long as it's chicken. I've boiled and pureed chicken for her now that she has babies to feed. She thinks all her christmas's have come at once -
Better than the 200k one that was flushed down the crapper....no hope of getting that one back. At least all they have to do is follow the dog around with a poopa scoopa

I just took another look at the layout. Is it roughly to scale in size? The group 4 ring is smaller and I'm sure the afghan, and other big mover, owners would scrunch noses at the smaller ring. They should have moved Group 4 alongside group 5 and keep the smaller ring as a spare.

haha that's gold

That set up isn't much different to the old one at the showgrounds. Toys were always in the woodville (sp) pavillion. I kind of felt sorry for them as we got to go on the nice grassed area.

I prefer Greyhound vets/sighthound specialists over the "GP type" veterinarian. When did vacc protocols for "lifetime cover" start mainstream? When I started with racers we did 3x puppy vacc and only 1st year. That was late 80's early 90's. Mainstream were still doing yearly vacc at that time and I didn't get back into show dogs till 2003. So for me, with showies, it was from 2003.
-
I disagree totally. I had bred, broke, trained and raced greys. I suppose you could align a racer with elite athletes. I have seen dogs, that were vaccinated, almost have careers ruined. I don't know anyone who doesn't at least do the 3x puppy vacc though. Some trainers have amazing facilities, as do some show dog breeders. Some trainers have grotty facilities, as do some show breeders.
