  1. Totally agree with you. That's why I posted the "crisis" situation when the defendant's barrister was asking the victim "why didn't you do this "why didn't you do that". So many shoulda woulda coulda's on this board.
  2. Dilutes can't have black noses. It's not possible. The owners are either wrong about the colour or have gone nuts with the black magic marker
  3. I loved the JRT in Frasier edit to add pic of Eddie. Here he is.awwwwwwwwwwwwww
  4. Am I the only person on this earth that doesn't have facebook? looks that way.
  5. The old guy isn't the owner of the dogs
  6. ack plumbers crack o.k. dibs. no one else in Vic is allowed to buy those jackets
  7. Very sensible post, as usual from Souff. It's all very well for people who weren't there to say what the boy should have done - in the heat of the moment one doesn't always think clearly. Poosible the attack DIDN'T last for an hour and a half, but I'm sure it SEEMED like that. Onece again the resident DOL know-it-alls have to carp & criticise - hope none of you are ever in this position. Why did he wait 90 minutes before stabbing the dog? Why didn't he call for help? Parents do shoulder some responsibility here too In my considered opinion. You can't be serious Maybe a more experienced person with dog attacks would have known exactly what to do in a crisis This situation of "why didn't he do this and why didn't he do that" reminds me of a rape case I read about years ago. The defendants said to the girl "why didn't you shout for help? why didn't you get away?" Her reply was: "I don't know sir, I'm not experienced at being raped".
  8. I searched google for a "mexican wave animation". I'm not posting the men that were in the search ;)
  9. I wonder if the dermatitis has thickened the skin around the eye area thus making the lids appear rolled inwards to cause the entropian. The newf we had just had the entropian with no skin issues. It was hereditary.
  10. I had an entropian newf pup from 2 normal CH parents. It was noticeable at about 4 mths of age.
  11. Why are the blues so expensive? They don't appear to be "rare"
  12. Not going to wade through 27 pages of posts. To answer the OP question: If you want personal security then get a can of mase and a whistle.
  13. If I was the breeder and they really loved and wanted to keep the dog. 1/ I would offer them a full refund on purchase price, let them keep the dog and draw up a contract relieving the breeder emancipation from any further compensation claim in regards to the dog. 2/ Or full refund and return the dog 3/ Or return the dog and have a pup from next litter. I'd leave the choice to the owner. All 3 options are fair. I prefer the 1st option. I have never heard of entropian being environmental. It's hereditary IMO.
  14. Thanks for the tip I'll buy a couple sizes bigger then.
  15. I think the solid coloured ones are lovely. They are pretty cheap plus free postage. I'll buy a couple to see what they're like.
  16. Mantis, I also noted that the word "dog" or "dogs" was mentioned 9 times. Souff So typical of Mantis Not every dog is like Kenny you know.
  17. 9 months of age can be awkward for some breeds (lines even). I took my whippet out of the show ring for a while. He looked like a gangly, awkward teenager at 9-10mths of age. He is starting to get it together now. You don't do the dog any favors showing them when they are going through "the uglies". If it is grooming well I can't say anything unless I see the dog, at least a pic anyway. Ask for some advice ringside and maybe take him out of the ring to he matures some more.
  18. Do you all think these kinds of jacket would look nice for showing or to busy? Worn with dark pants/skirt http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Handmade-Chinese-Si...=item3a40d0220a
