  1. O.K have you considered that they may not be cut at all They may indeed be dry and splitting/cracking. try some pawpaw ointment on a few times a day (just before a walk/feed so she doesn't lick it off straight away , and see if there is improvement.
  2. have you been to a GOOD chiropractor? that would be my suggestion.... What does his breeder say? Any clues from there? Hope a cause/fix can be found, poor little fella.
  3. Glad it's no worse... hopefully he just bruised his foot or something
  4. Oleander sap/nectar is toxic. Do not let your dog chew branches or leaves or flowers. That said... for nearly 100 years there have been oleanders in our garden.... and we have never had any human or animal poisoned.
  5. Hmm.. took this one of my brother's dog, "Oi" I liked the shadow... in PICASA,I just cropped, added a little saturation.. then used the focal black and white tool to leave the eye blue... a very quick job enjoy! boy there are some fantastic pics on here again today!!! :p :applause:
  6. it could be anything from a prickle to a strain..... rest him,and see how it is tomorrow. I f he's bright ,and eating, and weight bearing... don't panic..but if it is still not being used tomorrow..then a vet check will probably be needed.
  7. Sorry, never used anything like that.. or brushed teeth .. only ever used bones of all shapes and sizes... Chewing biscuit does NOT scrape the sides of the teeth like long minutes gnawing of meat off bone!! NOT crunching bones... but gnawing for some time. either at large steak sized meat pieces... or gnawing flesh off carcases. My cats demolish rabbit carcases... most of the bones except the long leg bones are completely eaten... lamb neck chops are great for cats.. lots of meat, which has to be patiently gnawed off
  8. jules- they don't need it on a regular basis- it has nothing in it which is essential to a dog's wellbeing,AFAIK, so , to maybe stop the burps, and improve their diet, leave it out of their dinner
  9. chez-you're weird interesting shot tho :D terrific use of DOF  do you use a light tent for some of this stuff? It looks great! Kinda like the m & m's
  10. Sudden earshake maybe grass seed related :D or.. it may also just be a flea or mozzie bite... Hope she's ok, watch if she continues to shake... some dogs can get aural haematomas thatcway

  14. That's better news Hoping he comes out of his drug haze later on !
  15. Please don't carry your pup- that's like taking yor 3 yo kid to a playground- butkeeping him/her on your lap get some age appropriate tick prevention advice (can't help- we don't have paralysis tick here)...and let her run/roll/dig/sniff and LEARN :p
  16. Spot on, Midol. And something I and a few others have 'argued' much in another forum. The thing is, 'psychological' is not as tangible and often easily ignored by those who prefer to deem that it doesn't suit their point of view. No argument here
  17. Oh- not the good news you were hoping for . I'm sorry.
  18. Permoxin is great here we have stickfast/rabbit fleas the normal spot on things don't work as well as a weekly/5day spray of permoxin, and a capstar tab. if bad.
