  1. Isn't there something about maternal antibodies stopping early vacc's from being effective?....
  2. As said... he has NO protection from disease he is way too small to even think about peeing on poles yet. he smells BIG mature dog pee on poles.. and reacts accordingly If you are not noticing him pee during the day.. then he is either peeing somewhere inside where you can't see... or he is dehydrated or ill and needs to see a vet urgently. some housetraining info
  3. 7 weeks is still too young to be away from his family... he will cry make sure he has had a good play session, a feed, and a toilet opportunity. get him a puppy kong.. put some treats in.. or leave him with a LARGE bone. the ticking clock/hot water bottle thing is good too leave an item of worn clothing from the pair of you... he will then smell that you are 'near' he will only be able to hold his bladder a short time.. so if he is awake.. he will need to pee .
  4. Ok... just another 'scenery' shot today... this is just near our house, our 'backyard '. cropped in picasa..that's all.
  5. I saw spotty puppy!!! gorgeous markings! pps.. nice morning shot!
  6. if this started after you introduced a headcollar.. then MAYBE she is feeling defensive...feeling restricted by the headcollar.. This is purely speculation. Please get the services of a trainer to work with you one-to one...
  7. huh? I used to have wonderful 'conversations' on flickr
  8. gotta laugh at that 'pretty in pink' may be pretty... but we don't look happy! am loving all the photos.. sorry I don't do individual comments :p They are all showing talent, and some great ideas . it is nice too,to see into peoples' lives thru their lenses
  9. here we have a pic taken this morning.. titled "Summer". It shows the colours and aspects of this corner of the world's Summertime - the blue clear sky,red dry rocky outcrop.. dying shrubs/trees.. and the gorgeous Rainbow Bee-eater, on the hunt oh- straight off-camera
  10. Ok... most of my older pics are HERE and newer ones HERE This is a good idea.. as I never remember to bookmark links when they pop up in threads...
  11. oh, yep !! I am getting old- not quite used to this fake grass idea. Definitely get either a proper pet loo thing... or a metre x a metre square of fake turf.. lay it on paper...
  12. Ours sometimes catch and eat them... but we DO NOT USE POISON anywhere. The cats eat quite a few .
  13. Ok- Jan 10 photo... taken with my finepix S8000d super macro function. framed, blurred/selectively coloured effects, and text all done in Picasa.
  14. ash.... BIG pics ...lots of wasted time here downloading ....... I haven't looked at them, sorry.
  15. If he is happy to go somewhere OFF the paper... then why try and force him to use paper? Sounds as if he's doing a good job so far I feel that maybe grabbing him everytime he toilets may make him unwilling to toilet in front of you....but I may be mistaken, too! Someone wiser than I will come along soon
  16. ships & chooks & dogs & plants & legs & flowers & allsorts!! ) oh--- OK... tomorrow
  17. Ok... the obligatory "dog pic" I actually don't do many of the dogs at all.... here's my Hamlet, in the back of the ute this afternoon As he hates the camera..it's hard to get a good one of him..but I think this one sort of does him justice there are some very inventive and inspired photography minded DOL'ers here it's lovely to see the variation of subjects and styles!!
  18. I failed the challenge. not feeling like doing photos at the moment..maybe tomorrow ? maybe .
  19. Widget gets a frozen bone ( usually a piece of lamb flap) every night... keeps her quiet.. she doesn't balk at things if she's chewing
  20. lamb flaps are great... but be cautious about adding fat to her diet.. do t gradually, or you may end up with a smelly dog until her tummy gets used to it
  21. Todays lot are very diverse and interesting ! Everyone has their own take on things ;) No matter what camera equipment is used,it is the eye of the artist which determines what we see
