Well, I don't have a DSLR I have a Fuji Finepix, and my absolute treasure, my little old Sony(bought from a DOLer) ;) AS my main interest is in the small things in nature, these two serve me very well. Thanks ;)

When do you have an appointment with another trainer/behaviourist, as was suggested in your other thread? LINK to other topic I could say all sorts of things, but I cannot see or hear your dog, or you interacting with the dog- so it would be guessing. IMO The best way for you to understand exactly what is going on with your girl is to have the assistance of an experienced person.. at your home, and on a one-to-one basis. Best of luck with it .

Darn, that contact I gave you isn't licensed as a VET in NT -
I agree- pick a good food, and stick with it.

Hi- feeding 2 week olds from a plate is NOT a good plan. :(a puppies jaws and co ordination is wired to SUCK from a nipple. You run the risk of having them inhale milk, and/or end up with a tummy full of wind. Eating this way also involves using more energy, which needs more food, which....... Bottle feeding is the safest and best for the pups next to mum! As said- feed mum a lot more quality food.. make sure she drinks heaps, and in a week or so, introduce pups to some food. What does the breeder of your bitch suggest? oh and IMPORTANT!!! Make sure you are supplementing the bitch with a suitable calcium supplement- hypocalcaemia is dangerous.

I know you must be.. .. but having her hungry doesn't achieve anything for you, or her, really... Honestly, I think it's something to do with that blow to her head..or some short circuit in her brain ..but that's just my take. -

Sorry the aggression seems to be escalating, but she will not learn anything from that exercise ...except that she's hungry what you say about a 'switch' could be right.. I have seen dogs with brain tumours do that.... -
ermmm.... are they not a protected species in Tasmania?

Hi . Walking is fine..around the house... on lead, and NO jumping/bouncing up at all. No jumping into car/onto furniture for the first week... Crate her in the lounge or kitchen.. during th eday if you like...that way she can see you, and is confined Watch her with the stitches! I personally prefer a soft plastic basket muzzle WHILE DOG IS UNDER SUPERVISION much less stressful than the elizabethan collars, IMO. Those collars tho are terrific at night :D Maybe not in a crate tho.. they rub against the walls, make noise, make turning around tricky.... Try & keep to as normal a routine as you can.. and don't fuss over her, telling her how sorry you are that she's hurting, etc.

Puppy Freaked Me Out At Pre-school

It sounds as if she was either injured before the trainer picked her up... or she was injured during that fearful episode Either that or she is severely traumatised. May I suggest you not go back there, until you get a trainer or someone to see her at home, and help you work on the mouthing, picking up routine, etc. Remember, YOU have her most of the time- it is your responsibility to train her in manners She may have issues that you have not picked up on.... -
That thing has creepy eyes looks a big hit!!

I think for working, a deaf pup/ dog may have problems I would not like to expose a dog to cattle without ALL its senses intact... hearing AND seeing what the cows are up to could save its life at some stage... A dog, especially a novice, taking its eyes off the cattle to watch a hand signal is not a good idea ! As a pet- fine... working.. I have grave doubts.

Ours get large meaty bones first up! Lapping is difficult for babies-their jaws are made for sucking ...so they suck on the meat/bone..get the juice... then after a while, start to chew bits off. Mince is then given a few times a day...... with a big container full of dry puppy biscuit available ad lib. heaps of meaty bones are provided... gives them exercise, and food and entertainment. I hate seeing pups with muck all over them..and this way avoids it completely Oh- water is always available... in containers like those ring cake baking bowls... deep enough to drink out of, and not easy to walk into/thru.

That second pic is terrific!!
