  1. *crossing fingers that Grover stays comfortable ..and stable.... *
  2. Are you able to house him OUT of that crate for 24 hrs? Just see if it makes any difference at all... he may have a cumulative loading, which just needs a slight amount breathed in, or absorbed thru his pads..... all conjecture, of course...
  3. ..and, if it escapes/injures itself in the OP's care ???
  4. Is the ply made out of treated pine????????????????? IF it has been treated with that chrome arsenate- that may be what is making him so ill.... just a thought. years ago , a lady brought her lab youngster into our vet... flat as a tack.. needed a drip, looked awful... can't remember teh details... he picked up, so we sent him home. Came back a couple days later..... repeat. Finally we worked out that yey had put pine lattice across the back door- and he had chewed it! I know- your boy has not chewed his crate, I'm sure.... but.... I have this phobia about treated pine .... Do you use any of those 24 hr spray things which dispenses air freshener or insect spray? has he been lying in the sugar cane mulch? lord- it could be ANYTHING
  5. What sort of fleas are they? Big active dog fleas, or the tiny rabbit/stickfast fleas? they have different lifestyles and control methods .... What chemicals are you currently using?
  6. Why feel guilty? he will never miss his testicles......
  7. dingdongdell...that's easy fixed ;) spray very well all round the bin/lid/interior with a good outdoor surface spray!!
  8. Good luck with it all ;) (wonders if betadine would work, and be quicker than canesten??? canesten is so slow, and so expensive. Any sort of fungus/injury here gets betadine these days!)
  9. Please- if you are at all unsure of exactly WHAT your dog is thinking- get a professional to come and spend time with you, at home ... an obedience 'school' is often not the best answer for problems such as this
  10. Oh- what a sad end to the decade for you...
  11. jacinta- on your profile- there is no information ... if you have used your real name- then you may be able to change it if you are so concerned... but honestly- with one first name, and a city/town population..how on earth could anyone find you???!!!! your dog would have to be a very valuable and special one for someone to go to all that trouble Most folks here give an area, or a city-- it is of GREAT assistance if info is required for vets, obedience classes, trainers, boarding kennels.... all that sort of thing
  12. Agreed Frogs are protected, and struggling. You cannot relocate them either- because of a froggie fungus (dangerous to frogs only) fence off your pond properly- keep the water going, and enjoy knowing you are helping out the struggles of our frogs! Hope your little fella continues to be seizure free . He will love being able to go outside again!! perhaps there was some spray or something from next door?
  13. Ooh- someone else has done the dead wool thing!! That used to be our pocket money- back when ANY wool was worth something- pulling the wool from maggoty/dessicated carcases was not the most pleasant- but,to me, there are worse things than maggoty wool/flesh ( we also used to trap/skin rabbits- dry the skins, and sell them for Christmas money (akubra hats used the fur for feltetc) ) (human vomit ) for one....
  14. Oh, Bugga sending thoughts and a Hope he can hold on.
  15. cutting roo tail with an axe may leave splintery bits. I prefer to take the time and experiment with finding the pad of cartilage in between the vertebrae..then just cutting smoothly thru. It does take some finding at first worth a half hour cutting and scraping- and flexing the tail, to see where the cartilage is
  16. we are not asking your address- region/nearest city will do
