Sorry, but I don't understand this at all. What makes the vet thinks the testicles will drop in another 3 or 4 months? If they are not down now they may never be down and if they are not down it is all the more reason to remove them. I have never heard of a vet doing this. They usually just make a bigger incision, find the testicles and remove them. Anybody else ever heard of a vet doing this? Must admit to wondering why the vet did not search for, and remove testes then & there - now poor pup has to have another anaesthetic and a bigger op.... just a thought- if there is already a fat deposit in the scrotum.. sounds as if the body has made its decision.... no balls in the ballroom ;) just my thoughts, and probably wrong!

For an old wonky legged dog? We use home made ones- a bean bag outer or chaff bag, filled with raw wool VERY comfortable- no risk of fleas...warm in winter.. and gives support ... Do Snooza make a wool -filled one?

Yep- Muscles grow with appropriate use .... do some reading perhaps on the different muscle groups, what they do, and then plan exercise accordingly

I do all my own A4size/postcard size .. Do them on canvas too.. put them in cheap wooden frames they look ok. have never used anything other than redbubble for bigger, better quality things.

I agree with maybe further xrays/tests. It could well be a spinal problem or something else.. Poor old boy. ;) Try using a belly band on him

Yep - minced frames area good start! Even better would be the whole frames, so your dog can chomp them up herself You can save yourself the effort of cooking for your dog- They do not need cooked food ...do better on raw. Cooked bone is NOT a good thing at all for dogs

Really? I thought it was great! Not much smell- didn't sting or anything- dried really quickly..and worked!! on April and us I bet the foxes do love the smell of all that chook litter, etc!!

You probably need to change the house rules...Raf's world has been turned upside down....and you all need to be made to fit in it again I agree- your delayed response and method of correction would not have been at all helpful for what happened In Raf's mind- he was told off for sitting on the floor!

I agree with spottychick- kids razzing the dog up- teasing it with toys and running around... I can imagine what followed. parents need some educating- newspaper needs some follow-up letters. R I P poor dog.

Itchy people? paint yourself thoroughly with ascabiol,as directed..all over! everyone! We had to do this when April pig shared her brand of sarcoptes with us the dogs didn't get any- but we did .. drove me mental with the itch . had to vacuum madly- spray everything with a miticide spray ( I think it was bosisto's dust mite spray) we had loose covers on all furniture- washed and left in a garbage bag in the sun to kill the critters...clothes/linen were left out in the sun for about 4 days... took about 4 weeks for all the little buggers to die off completely .
