being older will not stop him beimg stolen- in fact it makes him MUCH more valuable! Your pup would be much happier investigating smells and things in the backyard any day now-presuming this tent is made of fabric- the pup wil learn that his claws and teeth will be able to rip the play tent .... then what do you do ?

Loose collars are dangerous, IMO. A collar loose enough to easily slip off is the one which will snag on something, or get a foot caught in it, or twist....Most of our collars are snug fitting- they cannot be pulled off.
-
Our dogs wear leather or other strong collars continuously -we have never had any collar-related problem/injury.The dog's name is never on any tags.

I realise that aspect- but I was also told many years ago, that a dog is designed to lie down and digest their food for a while after eating....like in the wild canids/cats..hunt first, then kill.eat, then den. I know it doesn't really apply with today's light low weight dog foods... but I still do it ..dogs get fed at bed time.

Just a query- you feed your dogs then immediately walk them? I was always taught to rest the dogs for at least an hour after a meal ... and have usually done the opposite- walk, then rest, then food .... Glad the feeding may now be under control- well done!

info here

Also - walk Ollie every day- but maybe only ten minutes . Do this twice a day. It is far better for him to be comfortably active for ten minutes twice a day, than to be wheezing and in trouble walking a half hour once a day

Glad he is feeling better today

Yes, after input from a trainer, this may work very well on your dog...then again it may not be the most appropriate for Miley...I hope you can get in touch with a trainer who can see you personally.

MEMO FOR POLITICIANS AND PARENTS:

Hmm- dol says I do not have permission to edit MY post So- I was going to add that you are feeding almost HALF your puppies food as vegetable /fruit IMO there is no protein/fat in that to fuel a growing body...just stuff which bloats the tummy and adds fibre . I thought vegetable matter was only to be about 10 % of the food? puppies need HEAPS of good quality protein ,bone and some fat to build strong skeletons, and add muscle ... plus the BONE and meat ,in combination provide the perfect ratio of calcium and phosphorous. Adding too much vegetable matter means he has to eat nearly twice the amount to obtain his nutrients.... good for adult dogs on a diet , perhaps , but not a baby, IMO.
-
Is it all blended together?
-
Seems a lot of vegetable.. sure he didn't just regurgitate? Sometimes if dogs eat quickly- it just comes back up. I don't mix up barf, but am not keen on feeding broccoli/cabbage/cauli - why do dogs need this? Mine have had very small quantities of silverbeet/spinach, pumpkin,parsley/carrot , which I think are easier to digest

That is all you can do- if you look at the site some more- it does suggest deterrents and ways to keep them away from trees, roofs etc. There is no legal way to get the possums permanently moved a long way...and as said- if one possum ,or a pair is removed, another will take its place. -

Possums can be trapped by licensed people- but then released 50 mts away!! Is the possum living in your roof- or a visitor? what sort of possum? Are you inner or outer melbourne? HERE is some info you may find helpful. -

What did the vet think they were ? -
Do you want somewhere you send your dog away to and have it trained, or am I reading this wrong? Obedience/Agility clubs, etc train YOU to train your dog and she is still going to be a baby at 3/4 mths, so don't expect too many cute and perfect tricks . those big beagle eyes are enough for anyone to fall for , anyhow!

Does she look/behave ok apart from that? No discharge, or extra licking of vulva- or extra drinking or anything?
