Mmmmm Breakfast . Morning everyone, and GOOD MORNING, jed! ;) -
Hi- have a look HERE and also, HERE have fun!

I was thinking of this ... why not just teach 'fetch' ? and 'find/seek'? I have no idea of targetting .. but our dogs know 'find/get it'.. and will happily crawl under a bed/couch and grab things

course it is ....I obviously didn't wait for everything to load (satellite speed is not really fast ) waiting, waiting.... -
Kazzie- gorgeous photos! Your girl looks in lovely condition ..and very content I love that last pic aaahhh - puppy breath ! may I gently make a suggestion? bedding for newborns is best if it is totally flat ... NO folds/creases/gaps . newborns can get lost under folds etc ... sometimes leading to mum lying on them..or puppy getting cold. Ideally- bedding is cut/shaped to fit the base of the bed..and is secured so it cannot be scrunched up by mum

Oh, what a lovely lovely tribute - it made me cry - for you, and for that beautiful girl who was meant to be yours.

couldn't find the clip on HERE -
I agree with the others.

I wouldnt take my dog anywhere that puts us a whole blogg bagging out another local dog training school. A bit arrogent. totally agree, and i dont believe it is true that "they have all the solutions of puppy training and how to stop unwanted behavior" and not to be too picky but web sites that have grammer and spelling mistakes do not inspire me with confidence either. X2.

That's a pretty big claim!

Keep contact with him calm and quiet .. when does he grab at hands? What are you doing when he does this? How do you play with him/talk to him? What training have you/do you do with him ?..where did you get him?

I have never used crates for pups- but would imagine you need to make the crate the BEST spot to be put his food in there... a comfy bed with a heat pad if needed, etc. make sure the crate is somewhere he likes to be ... a corner is good- away from drafts, and somewhere he can feel safe . perhaps cover the crate somewhat ,so it feels secure? The back and top, maybe? Do it gradually... he is used to being with either other pups or humans.. being alone and physically separated from a pack is foreign to a puppy! don't sneak up and lock him in- this will lead him to be mistrustful! And rightly so . The crate should be somewhere he loves- it is NOT a punsihment ..it is where he snoozes- where he is put for short periods when you cannot supervise , and where he can safely chew his bones away from kids etc. One thing I will suggest is to start, NOW, training your boy to toilet on command :D This will make your life much easier ;) When you see him begin to wee or poo ..say your chosen word (it has to be something you are comforatble saying in public) repeatedly as he is toileting, and give lots of praise immediately after! It may take a week, or three, or a few days- but you will then start to say the word before he toilets... then as soon as he starts- say Good boy , or whatever- but not TOO enthusiastically, yet- or he will STOP to see what the fuss is about This way, when you get him out of the crate.. and before you put him away, etc he will have the cue to empty out. There will be crate training folks here soon, no doubt, to share their ideas

Good morning folks in the waiting room- and good morning to jed.SO glad you have found your way here , and I hope you find it a place where you can talk and cry and absorb the love and caring that seems to be in the very walls ..and share in the virtual decadent goodies too, if you're up to it :D *slides a jug of hot milky cocoa onto a table, and opens a couple of packets of TimTams, just because...* *goes to light a candle* -

I think because it is such a concentrated source of 'goodies' .. I have heard of dogs having to be hospitalised for a few days .. oon drips & such, but cannot remember exactly what the stuff 'does' Might pay you to ring a vet, or Werribee or somewhere, and ask, Chewy. -

Vet Visit would be wise ! B&B can be a nasty thing when ingested like that -

keep him warm and quiet and don't fuss .. just make sure he is comfortable . and let him sleep undisturbed. Take him out for a toilet opportunity before bed time..make sure he has water close handy .. and maybe offer a snack - but don't push him to eat. he'll be wide awake come morning!! -
Glad she had that sorted ... she timed it well!
