okkkkk It probably feels good , and is very natural to pee/mark things . However, it is not an acceptable behaviour for dogs living indoors/closely with humans. It doesn't often happen that someone comes on here and laughs about their dog peeing on a new couch, or all over the clothes left draped on the end of the bed .... Why then is humping so often seen as mildly/downright amusing /acceptable?

perhpas give her some nice canned food to help with the blanket traveling thru?

If you put your dog on a good dry dog food- he will get all these nutrients that way

So - he can't chew bone, or can't digest bone? There are other softer bones other than chicken ...

Bone meal is used in blood&bone fertiliser.. were you wanting to feed it to your dog? Your dog would probably enjoy chewing bones to get those dietary needs which may be in bone meal

thanks, folks. I love getting close to insects as well ;) Don't think I'll throw away the old fuji point&shoot just yet ;)

Don't fuss Just give frozen bones..other bones , and lots of other things to chew ;) I have had pups/dogs for a long time, and most times, if I didn't check , I would not have known they were teething .

Yelping/crying When He Ate A Bone

I know our youngsters often gulp down things which are too large.. and scream blue murder as it makes its way down.... whether this is what happened in your case, I don't know . Could have bitten his lip/tongue, could have got scratched by a bit of bone.... Hopefully he enjoyed the rest of it without incident:) -
This is not 'throwing up', it is regurgitation...and it is how many canines feed their young. Imagine a wolf with cubs .... the cubs are way too young to go hunting , so how do they get meat? Adults hunt, and gorge, and carry it back to the pups in their stomachs .... digestion is begun, the food is warm, and is a perfect start for the babies :D A lot of birds also regurgitate food- penguins for one , and parrots....

Does she look interested when there's food around- either hers or yours? Does she seem keen to start with and then stop?

noooo She may have been ultra stressed by the whole experience.. any chance she has a foreign body rumbling around in her tummy? Just enough to make her feel 'off' and nauseous? Is she otherwise completely normal??

have a look HERE there are some, I guess which would have more data with them. THIS one has the camera used ... and THIS one has heaps of info in the 'tags'

Labradors shed 25 hours a day, from my experience - so guess your dog is following true to this trait Dandruff? Diet changes will help ...feeding some oily fish, perhaps ? How often is he bathed, and what do you use normally? What else does he get apart from the Hills? Bones? treats?

What??????? You can't do that- just solve your own problem and leave us wondering!!

I would also suggest getting a qualified ,recommended trainer to work with your Mother. This way ... SHE gets to acquire the tools needed to walk/train HER dog :D The way someone suggests you train the pup may not be the way which suits your mum...will she be taking the pup to obedience classes/puppy school ? Will she be doing ongoing training with her dog..not formal.. just everyday stuff ?

:D She will be SO unimpressed
