Oh, thanks for the Grey info! I love D O L . I guess I am concerned that so many times we hear folks say that GA is risky.. surgery is risky... GA's affect your dog ...and breeders are routinely doing this ...Just wanted to know the safety etc . Thanks.

THIS is why we are recommending a professional to work with you.You do not have the knowledge/skills to address the issue. WE can not see your dog's body language, or know how she has been brought up. We have not seen the body language of the approaching dogs, or YOUR body language . WE can not see how the dogs at your house interact, or how they look when feeding/playing .... A professional ,visiting your home can see all this, and by asking questions, can work out what's going on.

leelaa you were not 'attacked', trust me ! You still need professional advice/help in person to be sure of travelling along the right path with this pup ..... please do not make the mistake that so many have, and try different things at home , just for other problems to surface. A dog who 'nips' another at a dog park can be reported .. it has happened to folks on here -and you can be in trouble very quickly, without being aware

Sitting on the ground in a dog park has some potentially dangerous outcomes. Leelaa, let us know whereabouts you are , and someone can recommend a good professional to help you. They can assess your dogs and their behaviour , then help you learn the "whys" , and implement strategies for you

With this pup, you have the compound problems of her missing all that very important developmental stuff .. so what may normally be implemented for S A may not be as effective, as she has great gaps in her life experience, and therefore learning how to do a lot of things...

Should 'a thunk of that still wondering how many times it can be performed on a bitch safely , and if the associated wounds /scars cause any problems ?

Oh.. and Tho I don't know much about it .. I think vomiting, and pain are symptoms of pancreatitis as well .. Hope he's ok very soon

Just remember - IF an obstruction is considered.. a lot of natural materials will not show in Xray .. stuff like fabric/leaves/cork .... Hoping it is 'just' a 24 hour bug , and that some meds & perhaps IV fluids will settle him down for you.

and this no definitive way to diagnose an obstruction If he is still upset and drooling I would be taking him to a vet tonight.

..there are many other ways . Kicking and shoving just tell me that you may benefit from doing research on how dogs learn/communicate . Kicking and shoving may work, because the dog is then afraid .. it has not actually been disciplined in a lesson .. like a child who may have a messy desk at school . A strap applied to bare legs /hands will no doubt make them careful ..to avoid pain..BUT it will not teach them alternative ways of doing things, OR teach them how a tidy desk can be helpful If you ONLY pat your dog when it is sitting quietly, or standing quietly , and not bouncing ,it will then WANT to be more quiet , cos then it gets a REWARD see? perhaps have a read of this CLICK HERE
