  1. I wouldn't do it.They get to use your work for their advertising etc.. and you get nuffin !
  2. and also they couldn't suck normally ..front feet are needed to grip and stimulate the breast..
  3. You're probably no the only one... however this doesn't mean it's a 'good' thing
  4. What a gorgeous gremlin,huga! http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5097/552531...78711b158_z.jpg
  5. Found this caterpillar on a vine. It seems to have tiny pink arms ..with hands ! Its skin is also peeling ..I guess because it is growing and growing, as Very Hungry Caterpillars do
  6. Rozzie- does THIS help ? or just confuse your limoniacal brain
  7. Don't let him have free run in the house - keep him on leash and make sure he follows the rules. It's Poppy's house- he is a guest, and should not be roaming and trying to boss her around . If he is used to being crated...then do that , instead of leaving him.Freedom of a room/house is something to be earned ..... well, it is here, anyway .
  8. I don't have many printed, but I do up to A4 myself with a canon pixma printer ..and if I want larger ones for gifts , I get redbubble to do the work for me
  9. Rott'nBullies.. so you are happy for the pups born blind and deaf, the ones with cleft palate, or the ones with badly malformed limbs to be kept alive, and as pets,at any cost ?
  10. I too think it is a bit sudden to leave him outside at night when he has not been trained to stay alone in the pen.... could you crate him indoors while you're out? I am all for pups being taught to stay alone and outdoors !!! But this is all a bit hurried and will probably not be a nice experience for pup
  11. You 've left the training a bit late ... I would have suggested a few minutes each day, a few times a day ..to eat his meal, or treats..gradually lengthening the time . If he cries.. do NOT talk to him, or let him out. Even if he goes for a hour. he now has to learn that his noise brings no relief . When he's quiet, preferably sleeping or playing ..THEN go and just let him out... No talking or fuss. Just open the gate and carry on with what you are doing . NO "poor charlie, now I'll get you out ..." Not even a "hello" ..HIS reward for being quiet is NOT your attention, really, but to be back with his pack .....
  12. Whilst these things do show you're serious.. what you DO need is a good professional to work with you at home .Not just discuss ...and please do not even think about an e collar without having a professional see your dog and the problems you mentioned !! yes, you do need a second fence ..not just tiles and stuff blocking holes ,and you will get some good ideas from folks here who have done the same .
  13. And for those who think euthanasing a dog with ongoing problems is 'cruel' ... it isn't , usually .. it is merely another needle,to the dog. I agree with what greytmate has said here...
  14. No panic - as long as he's happy , don't worry get an appointment when you can .
  15. I'm glad she's feeling a bit brighter She may enjoy some chicken soup ...:D
  16. Now look what you made me do!! I had to download it and have a play, didn't I ? While it lacks a lot of useful tools for fine tuning photos ...it certainly has enough easily learned 'novelty' tools/effects to keep me happy:)
  17. Excellent post, greytmate. yes, this pup was advertised for adoption, so it's not as if loving owners suddenly were faced with a paralysed pup ..... Also - a lot of money and time was spent on this puppy , which perhaps could have helped place pups without all the extra responsibilities and care needed? edit - most deaf or blind dogs I've seen lead happy normal lives , without their owners having to manually toilet them, buy equipment, worry about health issues, or cope with all the nosey public/jouirnalists ...
  18. Sounds a long way to me ... little pups feel they have to 'go' and then don't have the ability to hang on . AND it is YOUR responsibility to TAKE her out every 1/2 hour or so to help her learn about toilet training.Little pups /doggy doors/selected spot sounds good in theory she is a BABY and needs quite a lot of time to get this part of her life with humans learned and reliable. She can not do it all by herself. have a read of these links CLICK HERE CLICK HERE there is also this method from DOL member "dogmad"
  19. I don't think the breeder should be held responsible ..unless there were visible male genitalia it would have been hard to diagnose on normal day to day checks ... If it took you from March until the end of the year to notice/worry , then I am presuming there wasn't much that was obvious. I have seen lhermaphrodite kangaroos ..with an external penis, and pouch ..they are very obvious . I hope the surgery goes well if you have it done .. these are not actually hermaphrodite, but have very enlarged clitoris ...
  20. think I'd prefer it was a blockage ... as fifi said HGE can be very debilitating ... Take care.. and contact the vet if she appears ANY worse , or the drinking slows down ...
