Finally managed to get Leo to stand still long enough for a photo They had the same dad - old Freddie ..Leo is a couple of years older than Hamlet ( and yes, he a has a parti wall eye)

One example .. is if the dog grabs something it's not supposed to have - perhaps a cooked chook, or tonight's rack of lamb? It is a wonderful thing then for a dog to willingly give up the prize !!

Ali - my guess is that it IS tough when an owner is away from home a big chunk of the day ....

yep - and you could get hit by a car anytime you step out your door .. doesn't mean you should never step outside ;) pups NEED to learn how to interact with other dogs - need to learn the body language/social niceties - so when they DO come against an aggressive/unfriendly dog, they know what to do!

Hot water bottles are dangerous to keep pups warm, you need a space which is enclosed - even like a big crate/carton which held a fridge or stove! That way it is draft proof- and will retain body warmth as it radiates upwards A shed is way too big- without another kennel/box inside. Fridge cartons are great and easily replaced!

Olive needs to learn the 'swap' game!!! when she has an ordinary toy of hers in her mouth .. show her a yummy treat and say "swap" when she drops her toy- she gets a treat . repeat, repeat ,repeat ..then maybe start taking the toy and giving a treat .... it's a game all our pups enjoy ...and let me tell yopu, it saves a LOT of angst later on! I also suggest you get professional help - aggression of ANY sort is not something to experiment with .

With severe burning/hair loss , there could be risk of infection, indeed . Poor dog

wash well .. and slather on pure aloevera gel several times during the day? I don't know really .. surely a vet can prescribe something???

Practice, Practice, practice!! oh, and then practice!! Set up something .. like a white dog sitting/lying then take a few dozen shots, on different settings .. and see which ones worked ;)

Hmmmm.. So - how long have you had Archie? What is he being fed? Did the breeder give you a diet sheet ? Did you take Archie to the vet for a checkup? ( recommended when you buy a new puppy that hasn't already been vet checked) What did the vet say about his weight?
