Hi ...poor puppy , that doesn't sound good. I suggest you go to a vet now , in case it gets worse overnight ... It may just be a short lived tummy bug , it also may be something which needs treatment by a vet. Also, let the owners of your dog's friends know . Hope all is well by morning ...

Hmmmmm.. Dogs rarely kill 'just for the sake of it ' that's human behaviour IMO dogs attack/kill in response to their perception of things like - invasion of their territory - possible attack- prey animals-possible loss of resources like food . Dogs and cats are predators/carnivores/animals , and they will behave as such when their instincts kick in .Vocalising, hunting, killing are all natural behaviours .Not acceptable in suburbia, perhaps, but natural behaviour.

Awww..loook at those wise old faces ... when dogs get so wise , they need to go & guide young ones over the bridge :) Sorry you are without your little friend now ..

I'm sorry your plans seem to have gone up in smoke ..and sorry your pup's in pain. I have had a dog require surgery on one knee only ..he recovered perfectly and was very active all his life :) How old is your pup? is your vet experienced with orthopedic stuff? what testing did he do to come to his conclusion? Are you willing to get another opinion? maybe from someone who specialises in this sort of problem?

depending on the actual allergen .. he may not be restricted as much... there are lots of meats to try ... pork rabbit duck horse goat turkey and so on.

:) yep. Some time after Mitch left ..I would actually 'see' his waggy tail heading thru doorways .. Glad Zedley is still making contact. . A couple of years ago ....... visitors were pleased, and said they had heard Sally, our old horse during the night cantering past certain campsites she used to visit the visitors didn't know she had gone ..and we have no other horses . :)

I was talking about this today ..and, never having been to one - I only had a couple of ideas..one was watching that small/shy puppies don't get bounced on/bullied by larger/more outgoing ones . the other was vacc's and cleanliness. What do you look for /expect ?

That spot is around 300 mtrs from where I live ....and I am so pleased to have captured some of that 'golden hour' . Glad you like it, and thanks.
