Welcome :) having any dog, let alone a very large one is obviously a serious undertaking - good on you for doing some research! To help us help you - some more info would be good .. What dogs have you trained previously? How much experience have you had with the large breeds? If you've had other dogs - how did you find fitting in the exercise/training times , and kids ? :) How old are your kids? what are the neighbours like ? Are you aware that having 'something rare' may make your place a target for thieves? Where would you want the dog sleeping? What do you think of maybe getting an adult ,rather than a pup?

Visitors Here. Dog Not Eating Much N Growling

I also recommend a thorough vet check before the trainer comes! A trainer a: should not work with a dog who has a possibly contagious tummy bug , which they will then carry to other clients .., and b: it is unfair to the dog and trainer to work with a sick dog. -
that poor dog was so tight .. I wonder what would have happened had he been poked from behind :p

Also - you can have the best lens and nicest looking camera, but , if it doesn't 'fit' your hands, and the controls are confusing , you have wasted your money . You would be wise to handle several cameras ... and find one that you immediately feel comfortable with . :)

Your girl does sound very stressed..and this needs careful and professional treatment . Dogs which are fearful ,and show aggression can be tricky to handle .. I also suggest you call in someone experienced .... -
as I understand it ... chronic is something which has crept up, bit by bit and is long lasting....... acute happens quickly ... I hope the specialist can explain it to you, and keep your little boy comfortable. Take care .

:) Now that is a good reason! or (playing devil's advocate) The dogs have retreated to the one spot which is unchanged, away from the bustle , and have cut out the chaos by sleeping ...kinda like zoo animals- lots of crowd etc..they disappear in sleep .

:) good to see them enjoying it!

Aidan2 ... methinks it's tinfoil hat time !!

..you actually look to see who's reading stuff?

So sorry ... I hope the vet can help - it could be your boy is having problems due to a build up of toxins in his body, now that the kidneys are not filtering as they should... it could be the herbs not agreeing with him , or it could be that he has ,indeed, picked up a tummy bug.

:p more trouble, more work, more space taken up on your computer :p BUT , it is a format used when taking photos, whereby LOTS of detail/information is contained within an image , and which many dedicated/pro photographers use to produce top quality images. these images keep all the detail etc when being processed on a computer ... (many folks produce excellent images without it, too :) )

Hi. I'm no expert ... just love taking photos in a simple way : it can be difficult getting a camera with which you're comfortable :) Everyone has their own favourites - the camera which produces what is appealing , or what meets your quality standards . I am a point/shoot /compact camera lover ...no changing lenses, etc. Currently I am in love with /desiring of , one of THESE , a nifty little canon ..easy to use, a great zoom capacity, and small enough to put in a pocket :) here are some dog photos taken by folks using this camera CLICK HERE May I also suggest you have a look thru articles which interest you on THIS SITE

Caillie has been a great working dog ..... many years ago she had her pelvis a bit squashed when someone didn't have a trailer secure, and now her rear end is often a bit wobbly . She's about 11 or more..can't quite remember ...but seems last night she was feeling strong :p One meaning for her name is "beautiful girl who is tough as nails " :p it is certainly so!

I think folks are suggesting the type of dog which looks similar to the type the friend wanted ..ie: a labra whatsit

Drooling like that can indeed be caused by things happening in his body . nausea, pain, stress ... Hope it's settled , and/or the vet has ruled out anything drastic :)

Mind you, if it had a whiff of peanut butter on it, it may well have gone that way!! :)
