VET VISIT . No "might" . As some phantom pregnancies very closely mimic real pregnancy ..down to the beginnings of labour ..if she IS pregnant and is in trouble , they may not realise until too late

I hope the Physio helps ..Also the warmer weather ! -
I hope you have researched the kennel thoroughly...and been to visit it !don't just ever rely on public photos and a pretty website.Ask will your dog be sharing, what one to one attention she will be getting, what the food is, what actual exercise consists of...do they get groomed regularly...

Rebanne has explained it very well . Your poor dog is still basically in 'puppy rearing mode ' ... her body doesn't yet realise her life has changed. Everything has been quick ..and she hasn't caught up please do not let her free run for some time . ...she doesn't 'need' it , if she is on a long line , and also gets plenty of nice long walks where she can sniff This way the bond between you can be strengthened , training is made easier , and she can adjust to her new situation more safely and smoothly . She doesn't 'need' to play with every dog she sees, either. YOU should be her main playmates now ..and some dogs you know and trust ...in a safe environment for a while . It would be awful if a fight was started because of her confused behaviours It IS rude behaviour ..for dogs and other owners ..and is your responsibility to control in case she gets in trouble

yes. You are It is just so very easy , once you know the way I have ...and so have others here, given probably hundreds /thousands of pills this way with NOT ONE choking incident promise!
-
Bunny-hopping may also signal a luxating patella ... not a hip problem . Supplements will not be of assistance here .
-
That's how all ours get pills ( modified according to size ) LOL Wouldn't do it any other way . It's fast, sure and easy ... takes someone to show you the correct way ..and off you go!!

the people HERE or HERE may be able to advise you . -
I have always used a muzzle ..a soft , open basket-type .. so they can still drink , bark, pant ...Mind you my dogs have not been left alone with stitches in .
-
Hmmm.. onesies . the fabric may catch on stitch ends and pull ..irritating the wound .... make sure the garment is not tight fitting . Probably unsuitable to leave on an unsupervised pup , too much to chew etc .

Dogs adjust to the prevention collars OK ..humans - not so good :P
-
This is a surprisingly common occurrence .... They cannot /would not associate the two .....eating the cloth, and pain on toileting ;)

Dags in his nice new hi-vis collar from K9 pro !! Not often I buy new things ..these were on sale ..yayyy!! I also bought a new 'longline' as my other one has finally unravelled and become unusable it lasted years!! Bought it from a DOler . the new gear is made of Syn Tek ..my first experience with said product ... so we shall see. I DO like the fact that it does not attract prickles/dirt/moisture (Snaphooks are on all collars . It means a dog can quickly be secured with reasonable safety almost anywhere ..on a jeans belt loop, a fence wire, a piece of twine..even a tree root ..and still have a swivel to turn with. )

Spring Fertilising - length of time to keep dog away
persephone replied to jacksonr's topic in General Dog Discussion
I wouldn't trust him left alone . not yet. Blood & bone can be deadly ..plus, yes, it can lead to LOTS of digging.
