  1. This is an homage to the bestest boy ... (if I can get this stuff out of my eyes to see properly) he was a BCxCocker .. was my constant shadow..was my work dog ( pets as Therapy PR /assessment dog) and on holidays he would also enjoy working (not playing with) sheep, hunting goats & rabbits. He loved the cats , was such a happy boy when wandering along the yarra, sniffing the flowers, and at the end of his days , was a willing mentor/toy to his successor, Kieran ... Not a day goes by that I don't think of him ..he was a special boy indeed.

  4. 'cos they are often not house dogs/can escape easier/are not properly socialised because they are 'guarding' the house /are not under full control as owners do not have the skills /..are perhaps of a certain temperament bred for specifically ..
  5. Phew..What a GOOD DOG :) I do hope the family appreciate what has happened .. and keep them both safe now.

  7. yes..some years ago I did , with an old cat suffering from kidney probs . I was very happy with the results :)
  8. Brave woman! Adrenaline is a wonderful thing . her poor little old dog ...what a way to end a life .

  14. I usually work on between 10 - 14...or depending on the colour of discharge ... change from red to a light straw coloured .. and that's about right. I also don't think trialling her when she will be at her fertile period is wise .. for anyone ....
  15. Not exactly fair to the dogs competing ..with her scent everywhere :p Sneaky tactic!!!! Hope there are no mishaps during that time ...
  16. Thank you erny . it should have read Magnesium Oops. Calcium and magnesium both are effective in helping with stress. when they work together ... in a hurry, magnesium could be more effective , as calcium levels increase ..and the magnesium helps damp things down ... thanks for alerting me .

  19. if you do not have pedigree papers ..and a registered breeder you are never 100% sure what you are getting :( also people can show you a pic of any dog .....and unless you know them , or the dog is a well known stud or from a well respected breeder .. there is no guarantee .....
