The Boss hasn't taken him
-
he hasn't been given a proper chance yet .....
-
He might be .... BUT he's needed for work ..I do keep telling him ;)
-
Poor Clive he won't get on the motor bike ... he has a new name ..."Precious" named by the Boss. Oh well ... he's good company for me , and so far hasn't marked inside , unlike certain black and white dogs I won't mention .... One day he will be ready to work , I'm sure. meanwhile Dags has been out several days in succession, and has also worked a few sheep As is usual-The Boss's working dogs are mostly ones I do not "LOVE" (Except for BO..the mother of the boys, and the ferals) ..and the ones which gravitate to me ..he cannot stand. *sigh* Dags does make me laugh tho LOL He really is a "Dag" & does some funny things Clive can be funny too.. last night, after The Boss fed a yard full of Feral Goats & came inside he had one straw stalk on his pants leg. It fell off, & precious Pup picked it up & brought it to me . I threw it ..& he brought it back as he does with most things ... so for 5 minutes we played fetch with a bent and split stalk of straw! LOL he's different , alright :P

A day of no sun (thankfully) but one of much dust and gusty wind, bringing on much sneezing and as much staying indoors as I can ! Pic taken at lunchtime just near the house .(with Clive for scale)

As long as I live, I will never REALLY understand these creatures thankfully. Dags has been out to work a few times now- mustering large mobs of wild/feral goats . tied up in the back of th 4WD ..some rough riding on the motorbike...learning to cast out wide around goats..to move where wanted ..work with the others ...in the heat . And he's doing OK. The Boss is quite pleased, considering the housedog existence so far .... the thing that's got me is since then , he doesn't rush to come inside of a morning when unclipped from his chain ..& after the mad morning run ... he just goes & lies down at 'his' spot where his chain & kennel is! he will come in on occasion , but not like a week ago when he'd be almost knocking Clive & I over ! LOL It's almost like " I'm adult now- I do things differently" . Makes me laugh at the look on his face . The Boss came home the other day & asked Dags had he got in big trouble to be outside? LOL he had a wry smile too ... And at night ... I just walk out the door, and Dags jumps up on the stones at 'his' place & waits for me to attach the chain .... before you OOh & Ahh too much- the lad sadly likes to throw his weight around ..except with his dad. Pud rolls him regularly!! ( now for Clive to put on HIS 'big boy pants" HA, HA !! ) here's the hysterical princess....

Just. WOW. ..he looks just so relaxed.... -
Oh! I think you are right I knew it looked familiar !!!!

yes! We bought quite a bit some years ago as the goats devour it. Depending on the stage of growth of the asparagus, it can be very 'leafy'..and stock don't mind it. Some 'local' asparagus growers had asparagus for picking, and some for haying. That little lamb looks very happy with herself, thank you very much LOL !!
-
'our' euros , tho a few oldies have passed on ..seem to be hanging in there ...I love them so much took these two last night . The 'hay' is manky old asparagus hay, mouldy and ancient ..sheep will not look at it ..but the euros are at least playing on it and getting SOMETHING from it ... family portrait ...

If you are around other cars, your dog will hear the swoosh sounds of traffic.with ginger, did you give multiple doses?
-
I guess you've tried ginger tablets /rescue remedy before/during travel/blocking windows so he can't see out /direct airflow onto him ..... May I suggest Acupressure? LINK

In my previous life, Mitchell had Malassezia ..and it was malaseb , and malaseb , fresh food, heavy on veg. and vit. C by mouth, from memory. He didn't have it really badly..but enough to have that smell, and to be chewing... and to be VERY sensitive to touch/itches...poor boy .

Could be one of any number of crossbreeds She has gorgeous eyes Love that first pic ! LOL Dingo certainly wouldn't be my first ( or second) thought .

What you've posted here will be helpful. Write things down in point form , maybe . eg: Jax wheezes badly when : Lying down Stressed. Jax seems better when : His head is elevated he's sitting up he's standing blah, blah ..... Include observations like Does he mouth breathe? Does he sneeze? Does he appear to have trouble swallowing food? Does his tongue go blue? Does he appear anxious? Does he 'self-correct' ? sit/stand to breathe easier? Do you walk him on a collar or harness? has his bark changed tone/loudness? All this can help the vet ....

It is all a learning curve ..and consistency! That's a great update! well Done

You haven't mentioned any toilet training that you do ? HOW are you training her to toilet outside ? What word are you using , for example to let her know it's toilet time ... how often do you take her out when she is in her crate ? Every hour? Every 2 hours? Do you take her to the same spot ? It will be very confusing for a baby who has multiple surfaces (the sensory stimulation of the surfaces can influence toileting ) bedding/vinyl/grass/pavement/carpet ...... here are a few threads to peruse LINK1 LINK2 LINK3

Welcome Can you give us a daily schedule breakdown for you & pup ? Like a timetable ..when in crate/when trained/when fed/when played with/when groomed....? Gives us a bit better idea. Also what type and size of crate, where is it situated ..is it attached to a puppy pen as well? What surface do you expect pup to toilet on ? grass/dirt?puppy pads? concrete? And what advice did the breeder give you ? Thanks

Nothing useful from me - just "welcome", and what a fortunate dog- having an observant human
