  1. pesh.... I know what you mean. For long time, I did no editing of my photos ..... and then realised that what I saw on screen was sometimes not really what I had seen with my eyes - and so now I do adjust some things so it looks more like how I saw it. I also digitally alter photos ...with effects - but obvious ones .
  2. Sorry she is hurt .. and hope its not a break , poor little girl. As you have now been reminded - baby pups and jumping from height is not a good combination. Accidents happen- and all we can do is be mindful of their fragility and do our best . Keep us posted :)
  3. Hmmm... I may be a bit cautious, but would be suggesting avoiding this litter of puppies , perhaps? being an auto immune disease ..there could be also other pups with problems ... something you don't want surprising you after getting a pup home and falling in love with it. I wish this little one a quick and uneventful recovery , and a good home at the end of it :)
  4. maybe also get her eyes checked? Daylight might be too bright/uncomfortable?
  5. x2 - the breeder should be the one telling you exactly how to raise the pup to be the best dog it can be. If they're not giving you this assistance then run away - very quickly! Good advice!!! laurenic ... Let the experienced Dane folks here guide you .
  6. :) I think you have a way of finding out - just phone your vet to be safe .They know you, your dogs, and what chemicals you use ..... Best of luck for puppies' safe arrival in due course!
  7. :) So, you're a bit happy ??? LOL
  8. Love the setting sun :) NO WAY could I ever do that ,,, well done :D
  9. :) silly!! Their waiter had not placed bowls in preferred positions! Tsk tsk...
  10. No Abnormalities Detected I would suggest between now & pup-pick-up date that you read and read all sorts of dog stuff :) Vet terminolgy/anatomy/basic behaviour all sorts, so that when someone talks to you - you can answer them confidently , and so you can better understand how your dog works! :)
  11. :) Have been moving sensible posts up .... think I can spot DOLers .... My post from yesterday got thru ..and has had some reaction....
  12. Maybe speak with the vet? What is the diagnosis?
  13. I think you made a wise decision.DOL is a good resource for finding a dog who will fit in- hopefully yours will be waiting for you soon
  14. This idea makes me uncomfortable .... for several reasons... I hope your methods will suit your pack ....and that it will work
  15. Seems dog has severe nausea ...and I am surprised the vet didn't give you anything to help with that Nausea can be caused by all sorts of things, and after such an op ... it is a real worry, and I'm sorry you are having trouble . A dog not eating/drinking , and still trying to recover from surgery Did the vet give extra fluids per I.V or injected under the skin?Seems to me he needs supplementing with fluid /nourishment now ..before it gets worse The more dehydrated he gets, the sicker he will feel ......
  16. IMO chicken frames are less of a risk than necks ....necks can and do get swallowed ...frames need chewing , and provided dogs are left alone and away from competition..they can relax and enjoy :)
  17. Hi :) nipping/playing using teeth is obviously great between pups..but not great for humans It may well last until the pup is taught otherwise ..be it 2 days or a year! if you click on this LINK it will show you that you are NOT alone ..and there are many different ways to go about making life more comfortable :) I suggest you also have read of the ebook you will find when you click this LINK, too :)
  18. I hope that you can rest a bit now too .... she may be a bit stressed ,( and some dogs aren't stressed as much when owners are not there ;) ) but is getting what will do her the most good ...
