Home Cooked Style Food - Where To Buy?
persephone replied to CrazyCresties's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Nature's Gift canned ? My CATS , who normally won't touch canned 'muck' love the dog variety!!! I use it for sickies or oldies :) Then you could add some yoghurt etc -
:) Glad you won that battle, anyway ;)

How Much Feed 6 Month Puppy
persephone replied to Blue_Slash's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
What does he look like ? Can you feel ribs? Is he built like a wombat? What dry food are you feeding? What fresh meat/bones does he get ? I would suggest 2 meals a day ... for a normal good weight healthy pup of that age ..but without seeing your dog's condition, or knowing the brands of food , it's purely guesswork as to quantities -

Vet check is always a suggestion ... however, feeding two smaller meals could be tried - he may just be empty! -

have a look here .. http://www.weekendno...acks-melbourne/ http://parkweb.vic.g...og-Brochure.pdf and more : http://osp.com.au/?p=3224 http://headingforthehills.com/ http://bushwalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10773 I cannot understand though why someone would want to let dogs run offlead in bush areas where there are , hopefully, wildlife populations .... if you want to give your arms a rest .. and that's a good idea :) use a long line attached to your waist ! My Hamlet was almost always walked that way ..and it meant my hands were free for cameras, etc as well :) -
Jellyblush ... we still need our Roo photos and updates ..even if you don't post anything else .... :)

They can die .. if infection is bad .. and the skin becomes dysfunctional kinda like a burn victim, I guess....
-
malaseb may not be much help ..if it's sarcoptic .. some malawash bath , or ask someone about ivomec? If it's really bad & he is malnourished he may have a hard time though... Some mange cases when they get bad are just torturous ..the poor skin becomes dry and cracks, and gets infected ... a downhill run ...and they need good food, AB's etc too.

persephone replied to gwp4me's topic in Palliative Care Forum
Ohhhh , I too have followed the story , enjoying the photos and seeing how cherished he was. I have a picture in my mind now of the two boys splashing and smiling together , and hope you also can smile a bit , knowing he is now pain free and with Strolchie . take care ... you will have such a large gap in your day-to-day now . -
This is done using an app called 'your moments' all experimental as yet ;)
