  4. A resource worth eating/playing with + hours + confinement + a certain amount of stress = a worry .
  5. Gold Giving a lawyer a lesson in law was really quite funny! Why I love D O L .. it is one huge learning experience!
  6. I'd have two runs ., and treats/bones etc for each one :) . I wouldn't trust two dogs in a small enclosure like that ... all day ... with nothing to occupy them except themselves, basically ....
  7. I *whew* I'm glad it says samurai swords .. I use a machete on the arms ;)
  8. My guess is because he hasn't had much exercise, and he gets more food than he needs ... Two walks a day would be terrific for his wellbeing , physical and psychological :) I know you say how wonderful he is ... has he lived the apartment life before? he may get bored/frustrated after some weeks of sitting inside all day ..and you may well see some behaviour change. At present everything is novel , and for all he knows, tomorrow he might be doing something different ;)
  9. Possible. Has he been checked for any infection ? That might be an idea ... Also .. when you are home take him somewhere to toilet every 20-30 minutes .....but have a vet check first . Not sure but he may not yet be recognising when he has to 'go ' there may need to be much more training involved - he may also be confused ... he is only a baby still ... When he walks out on the footpath .. might I suggest ..every few minutes take him to the kerb ..and encourage him to pee - then as soon as you feel him slow down on a walk.. dash to the kerb(not ON the street ..just the edge of the path ... GENTLY ..and praise him HEAPS if he pees even a drop nearer the kerb Vet check first though - then perhaps a trainer to visit you and help you manage things :)
  10. Does not apply to dogs , cats, stampeding Rhino or charging Lions. what about zebra?
  11. have a look HERE Can't really help , but don't quite understand how he toilets everywhere when you are with him ? Do you miss the signs? have you tried having him attached to you on a longer light leash ? Sorry , not much help - have never had a pup in a flat/apartment ....

  14. Awww.. a happy ending to a tragic accident . Well Done - and I hope Jess & Sammy are pleased to be back with family :)
  15. poor boy he is so well housetrained that he will hold on for way too long. I agree - give him more opportunity to empty out - this will keep him comfortable. A toilet break is different to a walk :) When you take him for the 5-10 minutes needed for a toilet break .. tell him it's for wees or, for a 'busy' time - whatever term you like . That way , over some time, he will learn .. :) he's got a lovely sweet face !! :D
  16. ..You will LOVE the Just Joey rose .. I think it may be a climber ? It is beautiful. How lovely. Glad things are tootling along as they should ... it will be a sad time ..and that's fine :) Miah will be a blessing to Renae and to you - ..and we do need more photos of her now ;)
  17. he certainly is "handsome hunk hank " :)
  18. T ( interesting choice of word) Hmmmm... ..I hardly call that 'data based evidence' ...unless the evidence is a lack of bite scars... (sorry, I HAD to ) I am very sorry the people lost their dog in that fashion ..
