  1. from a non tech person ? experiment !! open teh pic - save a copy .. and move sliders etc to your heart's content - see what happens!! IMO it depends on what's lacking - usually some detail ...BUT don't rush for a sharpen tool , as some missing detail can often appear when contrast /lighting is at its best ; after all light & shadow is what creates texture, etc :)
  2. Quick word of caution. Some vaccinated pups can still catch parvo. I'd be keeping him out of more heavily dog populated areas for a while yet. Definitely!! he is such a gorgeous boy ..his immune system will be working hard to assimilate the vaccines .. Hope he realises that his owner is trying very hard :)
  3. I am concerned - Vinnie has had only ONE vaccination ? Not sure if you managed to read lots on vacc's ..so here are few bits from vet sites etc - </h4> </h3>
  4. LOL you both now have some time 'enjoying' a B I G learning curve ! Human will benefit greatly from personal, experienced information , and also from reading things such as the following : Dog will then be SO pleased that human knows what he's talking about - he will begin to respond :) ( well, that's the theory :p ) CLICK HERE CLICK HERE CLICK HERE
  5. Hmmm You have a baby puppy. It is your job to protect him first off :) Remove him from the situation. Vinnie. Should not be made to meet & greet , IMO He also has no need to go to a dog park. They can be dangerous places
  6. something rubbed , though, it seems ... it'll heal quickly enough :) if it doesn't look much improved in a few days .. get it checked out :)
  7. LOL at the chicken gulping Bordeaux ... yes....meaty bones for dogs or cats need to be bigger than their heads ideally - so they CHEW for some time ,and not just "crunch" a couple of times . meals should be leisurely affairs ... this way teeth get a work out - lovely endorphins are released with the chewing action .....
  8. sorry , I did chuckle .. one whole lamb flap is well over the size of an A4 piece of paper ;) lamb flap pieces are usually about a hand size or similar ....
  9. That seems pretty similar to what has been written in the DOL RAW & NATURAL CHIT CHAT thread One of THE best resources anywhere for raw feeding discussion :D
  10. .. she has probably rubbed her neck raw with the collar or whatever you used .....
  11. not really .. your girl will pick up on extra alertness/worry ..and may well react in a not-so-good-way just change things ..relax with her on lead ..put obedience exercises in as part of a walk ... enjoy the scenery ... and do check the 'Look at That " games etc " :)
  12. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m157/caswa22/vinnie8_zpsdfa2c665.jpg I just love these :)
  13. Weighing him and feeding treats at a vet is a great idea.... if , one day he decides that vet is a scary place - well- that's a lotta dog !
  14. No, I'm shooting in JPG. I saw the RAW button but am not sure how to switch to that even if I wanted! Sagelight looksgood Perse. It is on special for $39.95 but I shall have to wait. I do have Windows 7 so shall see what is in there. I see what you mean about too bluish when compared with what you did. You knew what type of bird it was too I see! apostles are my favourite! :) saqgelight has a trial period :) What I love about it is that each time I put the cursor on a task etc ..info pops up to remind me what it does ...
  15. Thankyou ..imagines T's computer groaning under the assault of all those extra pixels ............... LOL maybe , once a month or something, set yourself up to do a couple hours R A W on a dedicated RAW card .... store them seperately , and edit when you feel like it ?
  16. *looks around for a lovely people * :p I did shoot RAW on a couple of occasions ... found working with it not to my liking ... may do again sometime .... :) It certainly has many advantages !
  17. grass seeds are horrible when they go in weird that the breeder can't be found - if she shows dogs. What happens when you google the kennel prefix name ?
  18. ermm, there IS a legal requirement, actually ... RSPCA has nothing to do with it . this is copied from a thread here on DOL 12 mths ago ... have a read of the bit I bolded....
  19. At first thought, it sounds like she may have been very focussed on bringing her ball back ..and the other little dog made contact - bumped her/whatever .Unfortunately , then instinctive resource guarding behaviour was used..... much as if you were walking along a dark narrow laneway and someone poked you suddenly .. a lot of folks would turn aroound defensively!! I would!!! if she growls normally .. then she is warning ..which is a good thing - silent bites are worse I suggest NO toys if you do frequent dog parks ..keep ball play to home or deserted beach or something - walk her lots on lead ..and manage her 'personal space' sounds perfectly normal for a bitch who is not ready to mate ... esp a brood bitch!
  20. has he had anaesthetic? noticed the shaved patch ....
