Would there really be be ticks in a small unit garden in suburbia??? Always remember the more chemicals a small dog is exposed to - the more chance of a reaction/illness ....

may I politely, but strongly suggest that a second MUCH higher fence be erected inside your property to protect your dog from possible repercussions after mistakes. It is a LOT easier to prevent things from happening .....

I'd drive .....go one day - meet & greet ..stay overnight (ballaarat is lovely) ..set off home next day ... pup in crate ... pup would have to be driven to Tullamarine airport around an hour from Ballaarat..wait around ..be loaded..fly for an hour or so ..wait around, be unloaded amongst all the bustle ...wait around, be collected ..and driven home ...

please do NOT dose her with anything .... fast her for 24 hours - it won't hurt her .... and if she gets worse, ,go to the VET . :)

This is a BABY who needs/wants company .... teaching independence involves giving pup the BEST time ever when it is alone .... ie: the best food/toys ... so that pup can choose to be alone ,in order to get the really special stuff ! there is some good advice here L: A puppy can not learn to 'be confident' if it is separated and upset ... a puppy learns to be confident by being encouraged and praised for doing the right thing, and by being set up in 'NO FAIL" situations ;) May I suggest having a look at

Looks almost like trauma. Poor dog he perhaps should not be having aspirin! If he is bleeding somewhere that will not help ;(

LOL Not a thing to report going by that description but if your dogs had snapped there would have been. Glad I do not have to worry about parks etc !

dew claw removal on newborns takes only a few seconds per puppy and is certainly not done with an anaesthetic ... and is often done by experienced breeders themselves . Looking forward to photos of the babies :)

perhaps explain that doing N I L I F means they can spoil pup as much as SHE dictates :) Whenever she has 4 feet on teh ground etc ,,they can hug her/pat her .... so it may work that way?

10 days??? No way . if there is something chipped/cracked etc ..the painkillers may mask it,and it could be worse than it appears ....

if she ONLY gets certain treats/chews/bones when she is in her space ..then it will be somewhere she wants to be ;)

several fun/training sessions :) This will make her relax mentally ... and, don't forget ...there is MUCH work in training/learning to be still !!! Dogs don't normally self exercise in a yard - unless there are things/animals with which to interact ..like a partially deflated leather soccer ball , a sand pit , some opd cardboard boxes.... Dogs toilet anywhere ....... If you are concerned about her slipping while indoors..then keep her to a certain area , or on lead - both ideas are excellent training for a youngster!! .That way she can be with you, and learn to settle - then train /play/roll outdoors :) :)

what breed are the pups? Removing front dewclaws isn't routine on most breeds..but if you do decide to do it - it needs to be done within a few days .Having a post-whelping check on teh bitch is much more important for someone new .... , I feel.

take your bitch & pups elsewhere ...... that is very odd. I hope you have a breeder ,or experienced person who is your mentor to guide you on these things .
