  2. ..I'd be hesitant , very, to advise this over the net ... I have seen way too much skin removed, some bone left ........ it's best done first under personal guidance :)
  3. ohhh.. Bye Smiley Jack .... your job's done - rest now. Moops .
  4. ;) running really hot water thru bone cavities will dissolve most of the marrow easily :)

  7. T - I will almost guarantee you will enjoy tinkering :) .and nothing gets altered/ saved until you tell it to ! :)
  8. Hmmmmm... whilst clearing out the CD drawer I found an ancient copy of LR 1 !! More by good luck than good management , it is now installed and running!!! it can not be updated or anything , having been "acquired "..but I shall have a play ......
  9. Run free now, beautiful boy ... Sorry he left way too early ..
  10. glad it will be on the mend soon. hotspots come up so fast ..and the sking just needs a tiny break to allow the infection a foothold
  11. poor wallaby! :( With a bit of luck, the wallaby got in a bite or kick .... if your dog is eating, and generally happy ..then just keep him cool & quiet until the vet can check . You're right - it could be a number of things ..and it's being safe to have it looked at . (fever cannot be diagnosed by ears ;) )
  12. from a non tech person ? experiment !! open teh pic - save a copy .. and move sliders etc to your heart's content - see what happens!! IMO it depends on what's lacking - usually some detail ...BUT don't rush for a sharpen tool , as some missing detail can often appear when contrast /lighting is at its best ; after all light & shadow is what creates texture, etc :)
  13. Quick word of caution. Some vaccinated pups can still catch parvo. I'd be keeping him out of more heavily dog populated areas for a while yet. Definitely!! he is such a gorgeous boy ..his immune system will be working hard to assimilate the vaccines .. Hope he realises that his owner is trying very hard :)
  14. I am concerned - Vinnie has had only ONE vaccination ? Not sure if you managed to read lots on vacc's ..so here are few bits from vet sites etc - </h4> </h3>
  15. LOL you both now have some time 'enjoying' a B I G learning curve ! Human will benefit greatly from personal, experienced information , and also from reading things such as the following : Dog will then be SO pleased that human knows what he's talking about - he will begin to respond :) ( well, that's the theory :p ) CLICK HERE CLICK HERE CLICK HERE
  16. Hmmm You have a baby puppy. It is your job to protect him first off :) Remove him from the situation. Vinnie. Should not be made to meet & greet , IMO He also has no need to go to a dog park. They can be dangerous places
  17. something rubbed , though, it seems ... it'll heal quickly enough :) if it doesn't look much improved in a few days .. get it checked out :)
  18. LOL at the chicken gulping Bordeaux ... yes....meaty bones for dogs or cats need to be bigger than their heads ideally - so they CHEW for some time ,and not just "crunch" a couple of times . meals should be leisurely affairs ... this way teeth get a work out - lovely endorphins are released with the chewing action .....
  19. sorry , I did chuckle .. one whole lamb flap is well over the size of an A4 piece of paper ;) lamb flap pieces are usually about a hand size or similar ....
  20. That seems pretty similar to what has been written in the DOL RAW & NATURAL CHIT CHAT thread One of THE best resources anywhere for raw feeding discussion :D
  21. .. she has probably rubbed her neck raw with the collar or whatever you used .....
