yes:) As with any new dog, there will be a learning curve - and rules/strategies , but by researching/asking , you are doing teh right thing !

this image is haunting..... I am certainly not averse to corrections/discipline ... but this is just awful ..and I have seen it when I have caught feral dogs , when they were , in their minds, fighting for their lives. I would hate any dog of mine to feel that way because of what I was doing .....

welcome :) I think, provided you commit to daily training ..and treating the dog as a dog , not a "child", a BC could love your family and home . there will be others along with more current info than I - welcome ,and well done on doing your research on getting a new pup.!

Glad he is home . if it happens again - video it .... Seems odd that glaucoma manifests in that way by itself . I would also be thinking there is something happening of which glaucoma symptoms are but a part. Hope Doof is more comfortable,anyhow .

:) pretty cute - just make sure that all health tests etc have been done on the parents ..it would be just awful if you found out something after you have him at home .

..the vet maybe needs to have a think - please do NOT put anything on it for some weeks yet , until it has completely healed . ..and your pups will be spending a lot of time sleeping /under shelter for some time yet - do some research - and find a dog , or human baby sunscreen , preferably one which gets absorbed fast , so it isn't licked off !
