    A White Christmas!! LOL
  2. agree - however - if teeth are present , but have not descended ? That would be an extra problem./expense an owner could well do without , I think ..... This is the sort of fault that I would be concerned about. A kinky tail or the wrong ear set = no problems for a pet. But actual physical things would bother me, so much can go wrong with them as it is. if a jaw was not big enough .. or the baby teeth were lying the wrong way in bone .. *shrugs* No idea if/how often this happens - but I would not buy a pup as described ...

  4. Because, with a shift in location - new furniture- odd sounds/smells - YOU are the constant ...and she is keeping it that way!
  5. What I would look for? Here are some things- :) Experience EXPERIENCE Open mind someone who has done lots of extra Study personal recommendation some one who will NOT 'guarantee' a fix Someone NOT part of a franchise Someone who does not have a very flashy website ..... EXPERIENCE.
  6. Not good. hope you get assistance soon. Unfortunately , it is not you who decides positions below your own dominant one - it is the dogs.
  7. Thanks Persephone, from looking at the photo it looks sooo much better then it was and i now sound like a crazy over reactive mother LOL With so many stories/posts of dogs with cancers many & varied - being careful is a good thing . :) However - don't go giving folks your money quickly ;)
  8. from that photo - and IF HE WERE MINE - I would dab it with betadine , several times a day and see how it goes for a few days . But That's me . I usually suspect injury first ..and would NOT be rushing into hundreds of dollars worth of tests before giving it time to heal.... IF it is an abrasion - then, because of being licked at /moist, there wouldn't be a scab - instead, it would heal slowly , from inside out , without the benefit of a scab shelter .
  9. This is very possible. I was also thinking that
  10. poor bon . Mind you, I feel a bit sorry for Lucy as well - it's a shame she couldn't work out some of that energy /aggro 'doing stuff' .... not sitting , plotting the end of the world or whatever ;) I think either one could be rehomed IF it comes to that - certainly, unless Lucy is doing this to every dog she meets , she deserves a good chance!
  11. :) yep - get a consult - suggest things we have mentioned first . Do they look even like blood blisters? he is VERY cute - that bed pic is gorgeous . I think we need more pics ;)
  12. If that discolouration has only been for a week or so ..and NOT being a VET - I would think injury/irritation of some sort . What have you put on it to date ?
  13. brightstar yes, perhaps the vets have discounted all these possibilities , and are now worried - but it would be interesting to know a bit more :)
  14. A few things jump out at me - what sort of bowl does he eat from? is he a digger? Does he chew himself much? Does he spend time sniffing around the fenceline? How long have the spots looked irritated- and what has been tried so far?
  15. do you have a closer photo of the spots?
  16. best of luck - just make sure no one can squeeze thru the gates ! Don't forget fur compresses!
  17. Oh - do NOT go see this pup - one touch and you will be sunk ...... and may have many years to regret .
  18. SLOW DOWN ............. the right puppy may be 6 months away . Why the rush? You have in NO way given yourself time to do your research ..... but I am SO glad you are asking D O L :) BREATHE ALL baby puppies are beautiful at first glance (and third) ..and we can be sucked in so easily ;) RESEARCH each breeder/litter . A pup with obvious missing teeth MAY ( and I am no expert) be the result of breeding to try & get a certain shaped muzzle? The 'missing' teeth are possibly still in the jaw - with no room to descend . if this is the case - it will be expensive and tricky to fix .... Xrays will be needed to verify this - and I would NEVER think about purchasing a puppy who needed vet examination /xrays to see something like this. My suggestion. Run away now.
  19. perhaps because Bon is now adult , and has lost any 'puppy license' ? Just watched that video - that ain't fighting - that is one dog attacking a submissive dog - = NASTY .
